How to animals reproduce? Can you describe the basic needs of animals – air, water, food Where do fruits like bananas and mangoes grow (Handa’s surprise)? How could we grow our own fruits? What do we need to remember if our plants are to grow? Which plants in Africa and the UK? Investigate and observe plants need growing.
Starting point – Hook and Wow! Talk from Mrs Singleton and Mrs Geeson about South Africa/ Uganda Miss Rainbow’s DVD – when she worked in Uganda! Looking at Topical fruits and vegetables Food tasting fruits – visit from ASDA man.
