The Learning Challenge Question What did the Romans do for us?

Explore and use classification keys to help group, identify and name a variety of living things in their local and wider environment

The theme will be, ‘We are Meteorologists .’

The children will learn how to use multi-media to present weather reports.

History Year 4 will be studying the history of the Roman empire. Including: Roman Army Roman Culture How did the Romans change Britain?

Music

4TM weekly cornet session will begin.

The children will be exploring the sounds that different instruments make.

Recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things.

Computing E-safety

Writing Opportunities The children will follow the writing process of planning, drafting, editing and improving and produce a final draft for:

PE Year 4 will continue to work on their multi-skills in P.E sessions. Some of the time will also be used to learn circus skills which will link to our business enterprise.

In year 4, the majority of the work will be based around the topic of The Romans. By the end of the term, the children will have learned about Roman culture and the effect they had on life in Britain today.
