SPECIAL EVENTS SOCIAL DISTANCING AT MUSIC AND MOVIES IN THE PARK
Join us for our rescheduled Music and Movies in the Park Series and enjoy an evening in the park with your family. We will be practicing social distancing at these events and we encourage all participants to follow CDC guidelines when attending. Cough or sneeze into your elbow, wash your hands, and consider wearing masks. Areas will be marked on the grass every 6 feet to allow attendees to have their space in the viewing area. Concession and food truck lines will be socially distanced and restrooms will have extra cleaning cycles. Families are also welcome to pack their own picnics along with blankets and camp chairs. Float and Flicks may be re-located to another area in the park; stay tuned to Schertz.com and Schertz Parks & Recreation on Facebook for the latest updates.

NATIONAL WATERMELON DAY August 3, 3:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m., Pickrell Park Pool
What’s better than watermelon in the summer? Floating watermelons in the pool, seed-spitting contests, games and activities, plus food available for purchase for this celebration of all things watermelon. Free watermelon slices also available for all to enjoy.
