The awards are the brainchild of Jan Flawn CBE, founder of specialist neurological care provider, PJ Care, based in Bretton. She sought to set up the awards after winning the national CBI First Women of Business Services award in 2013 and wanted to recreate something in

the city to showcase talented, inspiring and successful women. This year’s Women Leaders awards will once again have the support of some of Peterborough’s top employers including Peterborough City Council. Judges are now looking for nominations and all the information on how to nominate and the categories can be found at: womenleadersuk.co.uk Nominees who are successfully shortlisted will be invited to attend a judging day on 12 September 2018. Funds raised from the awards will be donated to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, an organisation that brings trauma doctors, critical care paramedics and advanced medical equipment to victims of road accidents or medical emergencies in the region.
