Regent Bank

Exclusive banking benefits available to nonprofits

“Giving is about taking care of people, loved ones, family and friends, even strangers you don’t know,” says Mick Nitsch, Springfield market president. “They are all part of the community.” Selling is second at Regent Bank and giving back to the community is always discussed before products. Nonprofit organizations take care of the community here in Springfield. This is why Regent Bank offers special benefits and services to local nonprofits. Regent offers nonprofits exclusive loan products, checking with no monthly fees or minimum balance, no maintenance fees on deposits with preferred rates, FDIC insurance up to $100 million with rates up to 0.09 APY, financial literacy programs and a free Nonprofit Leadership Series. This quarterly series is an executive development program for local nonprofit leaders that includes a free breakfast, training and roundtable discussions with peers. Attendees do not have to be Regent clients. Each year Regent also sets aside a portion of anticipated profits for the bank and shares those with more than 40 nonprofit organizations or events that support various charities. Employee engagement in local charitable organizations is encouraged, with several employees serving on nonprofit boards. Regent’s executive training also includes a Faith in Business Series to encourage business leaders to utilize their platform to live out their faith. Regent wants to play an integral part in helping Springfield’s nonprofit communities enhance the great work they are already doing. At Regent Bank these programs are at the core of the mission statement, which is to passionately serve our clients to help them achieve their dreams. “Everyone at Regent is passionate about banking because it’s personal,” says Nitsch. “Clients and shareholders are also friends and neighbors, the community, and Regent will do whatever it takes to help members of our community reach and achieve their dreams and help make Springfield a better place to live, work and raise a family.”
