Whether you're spending the day with family, hosting a backyard BBQ, or enjoying a local fireworks show, we hope your holiday is full of celebration, connection, and community spirit

☀ Please remember:

The Clubhouse will be closed on July 4th in observance of the holiday

Fireworks are strictly prohibited in Savannah and on all Elm Ridge District property including streets, greenbelts, and parks for everyone’s safety

�� Beat the Texas heat by taking a morning walk, enjoying a refreshing dip in the pool, and staying hydrated throughout the day �� Wildlife Concerns?

We’ve included a flyer with important contact information for DFW Wildlife please keep it handy in case you need to report an animal concern or request assistance.

Volunteers Make Our Communities Thrive Associations like Savannah and Isabella Village simply wouldn't exist without the dedication and energy of volunteers. They are the lifeblood of our neighborhoods helping to create strong, connected, and successful communities grounded in shared goals and mutual support.

A wide and active volunteer base brings diversity of thought, talent, and perspective to the association. These contributions shape vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking communities and we need you to be a part of it

Volunteering isn't just about giving your time it’s about building relationships, fostering a sense of accomplishment, reducing isolation, and creating places we’re proud to call home. We are currently seeking volunteers to join the following committees:

Looking for Savannah residents interested in building connections through recreational sports and fun community activities.

Seeking residents with a passion for financial stewardship and a desire to contribute to the responsible growth of our community.

Calling all passionate, creative youth! Join the Teen Committee to help shape events and initiatives that represent the voice of Savannah’s younger generation.

�� Landscape Committee

Looking for residents who take pride in our community’s outdoor spaces and want to contribute ideas, feedback, and support for landscape enhancements and beautification efforts. If you’re ready to make a difference, build community, and have some fun along the way, we’d love to hear from you!

YARD MAINTENANCE:

Yard Maintenance Requirements for Property Owners

Each property owner is responsible for maintaining the yard(s) of their lot in accordance with the following standards:

A. Ground Cover/Lawn: Maintain an attractive ground cover or lawn on all yards visible from the street.

B. Edging: Edge street curbs at regular intervals to maintain a neat appearance.

C. Mowing: Mow the lawn and grounds at regular intervals to ensure a well-kept appearance.

D. Weed and Grass Control: Prevent weeds or grass from exceeding 6 inches in height in lawns and flower beds.

E. Vegetable Gardens: Do not plant vegetable gardens that are visible from the street.

F. Shrubs and Trees: Maintain an attractive appearance for shrubs and trees visible from the street or alley, ensuring they are properly pruned and healthy.

G. Plant Replacement: Replace plant material as necessary to maintain minimum landscaping requirements. Dead or unhealthy plants must be replaced promptly.

H. Dead Trees: Replace any dead trees visible from the street.

I. Tree Trimming: Trim trees that overhang streets or alleyways to allow vehicles to pass freely.

These standards are intended to ensure that all yards maintain a consistent, appealing appearance that enhances the overall aesthetic of the neighborhood.

Bulk Pickup Guidelines

Bulk trash must be placed outside of the trash container. You may place out the following items without special scheduling:

Four (4) yards of bulk, extra trash, limbs, and brush.

Bulk items including furniture, mattresses, appliances, carpet, hot water heaters, and fence panels cut into 4'x4' sections.

Limbs/brush must be tied and bundled in piles measuring no larger than 3'x3'x3' and weighing less than 50 pounds.

If you are planning to submit proposed changes to your home or property, we’re here to assist you every step of the way. Below are the steps to help you submit an Architectural Approval form:

Fill out the attached form describing your proposed changes, including details such as location, colors, materials, and contractor information.

Submitting your Architectural Approval request through the portal ensures efficient processing and review by the Architectural Review Committee. They will provide a decision within 30 days, communicated through the management office
