Each property owner is responsible for maintaining the yard(s) of their lot in accordance with the following standards:

A. Ground Cover/Lawn: Maintain an attractive ground cover or lawn on all yards visible from the street.

B. Edging: Edge street curbs at regular intervals to maintain a neat appearance.

C. Mowing: Mow the lawn and grounds at regular intervals to ensure a well-kept appearance.

D. Weed and Grass Control: Prevent weeds or grass from exceeding 6 inches in height in lawns and flower beds.

E. Vegetable Gardens: Do not plant vegetable gardens that are visible from the street.

F. Shrubs and Trees: Maintain an attractive appearance for shrubs and trees visible from the street or alley, ensuring they are properly pruned and healthy.

G. Plant Replacement: Replace plant material as necessary to maintain minimum landscaping requirements. Dead or unhealthy plants must be replaced promptly.

H. Dead Trees: Replace any dead trees visible from the street.

I. Tree Trimming: Trim trees that overhang streets or alleyways to allow vehicles to pass freely.
