Editor’s Notes One of the most rewarding part about doing my job is the opportunity to meet people from different walks of life, from those who are absolutely inspiring yet humble, to sometimes, people that are absolutely difficult but with a flop sense of self worth, filled with absolutely arrogance. Not trying to get into a flame war here, on contrary, this issue has been one of the most inspiring issues of all; in a way, it somewhat contributed to the making of this magazine. Back when I was still a writer, for another publication, to brush up my journalism skills, I took up an additional Diploma in Mass Communication. Then, this magazine was my FYP, so to speak. It wasn’t long after the project, I accidentally or by fate, met a very inspiring and motivational lady that told me to pursue my dreams. I couldn’t really remember the exact conversation that lead to the statement, but it gave me a little nudge, to dream a little more. Some years later, with a lot more experience in life and what not under my belt, I got to meet this same lady again. As inspiring as ever, she shined like the north star, nudging us to dream and work towards it. We’re not talking about far fetched dreams of unicorns, rainbows or fairies here. We’re talking about entrepreneurship, making a difference to the social landscape. Success can mean different things to different people. One form of success is wealth; another is achievements (which also often contributes to wealth to some extent). Recently, we manage to secure our first round of angel investment, which gives us a lot more leeway to play with, in terms of resources.
