To the Smoking Cessation Service on launching the pilot for the new smoking cessation medication –Cytisine Ward 6 have identified their first patient to take part The patient has now started the medication and hopefully will be the first of many we can help to stop smoking using this highly recommended medication. Over the last 2 weeks a Test of Change has taken place for the introduction of Hot Slot Appointments for Cardiology and Respiratory.
Task and Finish Groups have started from Wednesday 16 October for Workstream 4 - Ward Processes to focus on Weekend Discharges, Planning for tomorrow and SHOP Model and Afternoon Huddles.
Congratulations to Ward 28 as most improved Ward on their Pre-12 discharges! Thank you all for your hard work and support with the ongoing improvement work. We are already seeing a positive change.
