A Busy Year for Human Resources Services
A Busy Year for SARC
HUMAN RESOURCES SERVICES
SARC Labour Relations Consultant, Marrion Wolff, facilitating one of the nine Leap Sessions in 2019 SARC’s human resources and labour relations support services for our Members had another busy year, namely in the areas of:
■ Collective bargaining and other union activity ■ Performance management ■ Respectful workplaces ■ Mental health in the workplace
This year, we also saw an increase in Boards requesting assistance with developing and implementing appropriate policies/practices related to their HR and oversight responsibilities for the Executive Director position.
While there are Board resources available on SARC’s Learning Central website, Boards are also welcome to contact SARC for Human Resources consultant support.
Executive Directors, don’t forget to check SARC’s online Manager Resource Area for HR/LR policies, tools, resources, and our HR/LR Insights, a publication produced in partnership with MLT Aikins.
