BINARY OPPOSITION AS THE THEORETICAL CONCEPTUAL HINGEPOINT OF TWENTIETH CENTURY CONTINENTAL PHILOSOPHY AND THE DEFINITION OF A FEW NECESSARY EVILS

I always already knew I was a philosophers, you assholes who pretend in www.wikepedia.com that Barthes' consciouslly meant "The Death of an Author" was "The Birth of a Reader," my five page response to Barthes as a undergraduate student at Brown University in 1992 and that I even have seen fascimiled as the original article by Barthes in student xeroxed readers of "theory."]
What is this dualism that underlies menthodology and abstraction of twneiteth century European philosophy? Just as in one simple example, in MADNESS: The Invention of an Idea by leading theoritical architect Michel Foucault, there are such repeated use of binary oppositions as terms of
discussion as "mental medicine" and "organic medicine," "inidividual" or "social" regression, "to suppress" and "to free," "hallucination" versus "delusion," "obsessionals" or "psychastentics," "society immobile in its hierarchy of the moment' to a "society in which equality of relations made possible," "an imaginary onterlocutor" to "a real partner," "the real behavior of the hunt" and "the potential behavior of the account," "the most recent structures" then "the most archaic levels," "paroxysyms of motor agitiation" or "emotional outbursts" in which "the melancholic subject affirms his depair" and "the manic subject his euphoric agitation," "not an earlier personality," "but a suppressed personality," "Freud's 'libido'" versus "Janet's 'psychic force,'" "desires" and "fears," "seeing/being seen" as opposed to "speaking/being spoken to," "believing"/"being believed," "anesthetized" or "paralyzed" elements, "neur-" and "psychopathology," "deterioration" to "stabilized" and "analysis of behavior" and "not interpretation by psychological force." This parallels a similar obsession in all Marxist, post-Marxist, feminist, post-feminist, structural, post-structural, post-post-structural2, postmodern etc. thought with the binary opposition, though after destabilized in terms of transparency of definition through the workings of ideology and the power center of capitalism and Western European colonization 3: male/female, capital/labor, owner/worker, white/black, life/death, and/or, mater/energy, madness/sanity, political/personal, work/leisure, action/inaction, patriarchy/matriarchy, patriarchal/matriarchal, verbal/math, father/mother, penis/vagina, object/subject, actor/acted upon, body/soul, masculine/feminine, sexual relations/rape. With the dialectic, we experience a fluidity between terms that in conception appears more accurate. Balance, action, movement, time, personhood, the influence of subjectivity, the "reality" of the temporal moment as experiences in space, creativity, the uncanny, The
Bildungsroman, Christ, all become possible in our current complexity of conceptualization as we move from one term to the other and, most importantly, back again to allow situations to expand, enfold, return, tune and adjust in a way that with our historically, physically attuned psyches seems "right," or at least more accurate, possible, explanatory, understandable, bewildering and unddeniable. Paper is hit by pen. Space makes way for let, as meaning becomes possible, something I believe is fundamentally evolved into consciousness as expressed by animals in this world. What is interesting is "evolutive, potential and structural diversion" make it an "assay, significative and historical;" "obsessions" are added to "delusions" and "hallucinations," "in presence," "in language," "in narration." Together we get complexities such as further "illusions, hallucinations, false recognitions, manifest in the waking state as the disinhibition of forms of dream consciousness." Ideas such as string theory, biopsychology and biobeurology, quantum mechanics and even the simple theory of the atom consisiting of electrons, neutrons and protons. This final theory alone proves my point that this is one of the fundamental workings of our brains through consciousness as it existed prior to the understanding of the dialectic, which is rumoured, but non-existent in Hegel and Marx. A multiplicity of multiplicities4 combined witht he bianry opposition in the dalectic leads to Enlightenment and Understanding and/or utter incomprehensibility, complexly enscribed and dissolving as these same concepts make way for forgetting and death-like trance of moment. 6 What angels! Colors, blue, chair, chairs, stairs, staircase, moment, time, bus noises, paper, actor, subject, personal subjectivity, paper of notebook, pen, clock, second-hand, 11:22 am, book, books, bookcases, books, book, The Atheneum of Providence, Rhode Island, floor boards, base boards, memories of a tour going through, coughing, coffins, death, breath, stomach pains,
fever, feveish, personality, otder, understanding, bewilderment, writing, room: a moment of work, writing, rest, a kind of leisure activity, the king of leisure activites, understanding, forgetting, recorded time trying to explain. my chest heaves; I spit out water on my grey coat with my graying sleaves of a brand new white shirt as a mailman walks by, something i will forget and have, but not out of classicism, and it's as if I can tast blood on my nose. Now I will show how twentieth century continental philosophy known in the field as "theory" is relevant to the realities of our world-wide political economy. As Dr. Henry Kissinger pointed out during the Nixon Administration when he and numerous other academics made the head swinging turn into national and international politics, revolting many and revolutionizing all, The Soviet Union borders onto China with its billions of people, The Mide East and Europe with whom history shows trouble. What is this Soviet Union and it's individual leaders is my question. How are these concepts truly defined through use and experience. Its Parliament, its houses and classed classless society that desires for one border, no border, a fluid border, an understood border, a borderless border and the extinction of its border implicitly and uncosnciously complicitously into the bordering neighbor/s through its own death, proved by its creation of nuclear, chemical, biological, electromagnetic, computer, viral, nanotechnological, personal, social, conceptual and geographical weapons of mass and self destruction, just as the nations of NATO, Israel and the rest of The Untied Nations do. Som many kinds and species, and different enumerations of political, cultural, anthropological, personal, societal, religious and iderological birth, life, evolution, death and extinction possible, yet for the moment Russia thankfully remains; there are presumably many cognitive, vocatice and literal texts of human understanding that can claim that even The Soviet Union, formerly known as the CCCP of WARSAW, still exists.
Mass mind. Understanding as ideological brain washing, of any nation, sounds knee-jerk, but is there another explanation for the process of how one mind can influence another's that where there is "more than one person in the room," conceptualizes and at least somewhat successfully uses language, communication in general, influence, society, power structures, Christ, demons, reality, time, place and places, spirituality, and the religious concepts pointed at through the noumenal as conceived of by Kant10 exist11? A multiplicity of multiplicities; yet is there a simpler explanation? I return to my conception that cognition relies on binary opposition to work such that as we get closer to "Truth," we begin to see it as it is, allowing the existence of scientific progress. An understanding of self, a focus on self during 20th century philosophy from madness to belief to rationality to a recognition of the mind and its own limits. 12 Communication, control, belief, peace, justice, conception, personality, expression, symbolism, justification, withdrawal, survival, perpetuation, continuity, research and government are all thrive3d upon by governments themselves as they try to creat, define, defend, adjust, acculturate, destroy, commit suicide and coordinate within the individual, their preconceived, historically created and maligned orders within and amongst historically-based individuals and their boundaries, doings and boundless affectations of others within the body politic. Given that governments exist, at least temporarily and historically without descending into pure Descartian solipcism, how are their "instincts" to be understood? And the "instincts" of the actors, individual and body politic such as Congress or a nation's Parliament or a controlling force such as The Federales of Mexico or a terror organization such as, in my opinion, Hollywood? When I use the word "instinct," I mean an inner force, like that of a plant reaching out to the sun
automatically for survival, that overwhelmingly has control over any society, cultural, individual conceptual positioning or underpinings that have to be learned, with kinds of learning themselves as base-related instincts. For example, the base-instinct of the drive to learn has a matrix of branches off the core, genetically-governed instinct to remember new ideas, such as learning from others, learning from artifacts, such as buildings, books and symbols, and reasons for the individual to do the work automatically, such as learning for individual, cultural, and/or societal gain. Whether this can be broadened to an understanding of cultural, societal and governmental's "instincts" to learn as they are based on the evolved position of the individuals and their nervous system (brain, neurons, glials, mind-body connection) possessing these instincts is the subject of this book. For example, do corporations, companies, intelligence organizations, non-profits, NGOs, Museums, terror networks, organizations, cells and actors, museums, individuals, families and leaders have the same instincts as, say, The United States during the height of the budget default in October, 2013, and/or the The Soviet Union after the collapse of its monarchy to the fall of The Berlin Wall and The Iron Curtain? Are the same instincts for perpetuation, differently acting within and against the realities of political-economic time-space? Continuity? Annihilation? Annihilation is a particularly fascinating possible instinct, much like the death wish, but added too it no chance of recreation, such that the death wish is enacted upon all members of one's own social group and its culture and ideology. The instinct of annihilations seems improbable, but in the age of weapons of mass destruction, it must be examined. Is there a governmentbased death wish, which it is essential and criminal to ignore given the reality of so many and so many kinds of weapons of mass destruction?13
If an "instinct," for lack of a better term and co-opting any meaning of it up to this point in our understanding, to be defined the way "instinct" has been defined above, may actually possess a kind of consciousness, unconsciousness, subconsciousness or non-consciousness for the death wish exists on the governmental level, is there a way to "transcend" this instinct so selfpreservation, not annihilation and The Grande Finale is possible? 14 The "individual" I will define as a human being ata certain sociobiological, individual, cultural, historical, societal and environmental history with its brain encasing memories in a nervous system jacked up with oxygen, food, water, neurobiuological chemicals, conscious, unconscious, nonconscious, subconscious and id-based complexes, nicotine, excellent cocaine, The Herbertgrade Jamaican marijuana I own farms of, opiates, endorphins, and all its other complexities, subjectivity, and ability to be objective. What sorts of things of things and ideas does the individual as defined desire? What are its desires and desirings? Does desire change depeending on whether it is a male or female or others' subjectivity? Male or female or others' genetics? Male or female or other, in general, as defined by society and/or with the help of its own consciousness making the world round. 16 All of the above. Another hit of a cigarette, some more elctronic hookah, another hack of a cough, even more pain in the chest for the novelty of being like Edgar Allen Poe in the town he died in, Providence, Rhode Island. He had an unpleasant will, too. More time. Less time. Death. It's out there, right? Right!1`7 And, of course, sex18, both to perpetuate and solely for desiring pleasure for self with the alpha males I am naturally attracted to now that I am beyond the social need for being with a "boyfriend" like I did in high school, the men I want to "conquer" solely sexually and the union of minds and bodies so all coallesces in a whirlpool of painfully, nexpressibly, always recognized, easily forgotten energy that subsumes my ability to think now
and then, so now I really DO want a ciagrette, again. Desire. I think it all comes down to desire and its different forms, energies, manifestations, objects, subjects, withdrawals, understandings, blindings, bondings, barriers and Beings. How is "desire" to be defined?There is some conqurence amongst post-Freudians and with this article post-post-Freudians and others in the Modern Culture and Media now antiquitated list of brands of theory that the libido does not exist. But so is "mind," a concept from religious studies and comparative literature in thge vein of de Man, that without leaves us as a bunch of electro-magnetic-chemical neuronal capacities hoping to turn off to swleep and death to perhaps become soul and try again in our hopes of being better philosphically in tune with reality. I will end with: The Noumenal and call myself a noumenalist. There is reality. The glass of water in the hand, rather than just the mind (only remarkable should you stand up and find a glass of water to actually, consciously without words, pick up and put to mouth), but because we have a concept of God, the Great Presence of Other beyond oneself, even just The Universe, a miracle we can't physically comprehend, which implies a kind of conceptual partner. It is logically deducible that "God," God exists. The Noumenal must exist or else we wouldn't be able to point to it as something inconceivable of existing, as I point out in footnote 10, something that can't exist, which means that everything we point out, does exist. 20 ______________________________________________________________________________ 1

The only exception I can think of is "queer theory," which makes exploring the boundaries of
the body, mind and philosophy into a very serious play between and among formerly binary conceptualizations without relying singularly upon the dialectic as described by Horkheimer and Adorno of The New School they founded when they escape Nazi Germany. For example, in Elder Queer's analysis of "sexual intercourse so-called," he opens up the possibility of gay, lesbian and transsexual human beings being to figuratively, literally and legally have sex, fuck and/or make love. 3

being any different from any other kind of colonization, including tribe against tribe in Africa with examples from sociobiology, a theory by X that is disturbingly spot on regarding human beings as animals until you add the idea of spirit, soul, one's Creator and the gods through an exceptional experience with the dark light of the soul through drug addiction, torture (I was given fourth degree burn wounds at one point as DDCIA) and/or opiates, which if they are for the masses, I see as a healthy thing. 4

At last the "I" inserts (another conception coming directly from Susan Bernstien's 'the turn
toward the I'); though of course it has always been there, desiring and desiring: genius, fame,
success, money, self, sex, comfort, relationships, the absence of guilt, trust, acceptance, understanding, the removal of this stigma set upon me as a political attack from The National Organization of Women as a political attack before I even began to consider myself a politician and just wanted to work at Morgan Stanley, encompassing pleasure, pulses, writing and waiting intentionally in heat. Why does desire seem to be the basis of civilization? I will go into this further in another chapter. 7

Kant tries to prove, to me successfully, in his work Y that as we can conceive the "noumenal" of

Anyone, such as myself, who has survived seeing a nuclear weapon go off knows exactly what I
mean thaqt scientific "progress," (meaning advancement in the successfulness of our theories of how the world and universe works), knows exactly what I mean in awe. 13
I, myself, forgot I wrote this down. I wouldn't be surprised if upon a second reading of this
chapter, even Dr. Henry Kissinger would forget this idea of a governments instinct, implying beyond our power, to annihilation. (I even have completely forgotten what I am talking about as a terror attack on my own mind), except I am intentionally drawing it into consciousness so that perhaps you will remember it solely due to this footnote's review of it. The real question for me is not whether or not this instinct to annihilation exists, but whether or not, with knowledge of it and the imminent and always already there to our current world nature of weapons of mass destruction that perhaps only appear to be in our control. There is a movement among different nations to create robots that would start war automatically. I think this idea is a "no-no" for this reason alone. 14
Why is it so disturbing to look upon society on these terms? Perhaps it is due to our ideology
of being born of God or whatever you believe is your Creator, and unique from animals. But after one makes the paradigm shifts15 that it is "okay," "good," "fun" and "worthwhile" to be animals with consciousness of their own consciousness an understanding of the reality pointed out by the existence of the noumenal in our conceptual "atmosphere" and opium. Such a wild idea that I wonder if any reality-based, rather than ideologically post-post-Marxist graduate school, would consider letting me attend solely due to their, perhaps even just unconscious instinct of the danger of governmental annihilation before societal, individual, cultural and governmental paradigm shifts take place. 15

cure of riddled with cancer that he, of course, if you know him, tried on me successfully first, who worked out his ideas of paradigm shift in PARDIGMS AND BARRIERS and COPERNICUS. As the intellectual executor of his work, I will try to explain a paradigm shift (it is my idea that paradigm shiftS are necessary) in a way he would accept. Frankly, having worked with Duke since the 60s, I know if I explained it better, he would just say, yes, of course, and quietly start another book thanking Jot, not me. A "paradigm shift" is when you suddenly have a new way of looking at a problem, a new way that his explanation of I find unsatisfactory so will not go into, and start to look at a whole field of concepts in a new way such that some ideas are discarded, the sun going around the Earth, and others become conc eptually possible for the first time in our mind's history. For example, if the Earth didn't go around the sun, we would be almost incapacitated by the lack of our ability to make successful maps and the possibility of getting anywhere that had not been poisited beforehand by our own historical experience of the world. 16
See queer theorists, like a new mentor whose name from facebook I can't for the life of me
remember, but will get and who just today convinced me of their sexuality being based on something beyond the binary opposition, so are no longer a mentee despite the Thought Police (joke). Jokes must be explained, says mentor Jacques Lezra; I just prefer pointing them out and making to think about them as I am too sick in the sense of disgusting, demented, dangerous to make my explanations vivid. He still isn't talking to me due to my joke that Angelina Jolie's big, fake lips are a cosmetically-enhanced sphincter, perhaps solely because I did explain this one to him in a voicemail. 17
Mentor Prof. Ellen Rooney responded to my paper "Death." on Clariissa by Robertson, about a
woman who is "raped" and "dies," which has to be read in all full 1500 tiny-type-font pages to appreciate, with "It's in there, right?" I was too shy to go to her and point out she completely misread my paper, which was trying to prove that the Death. I was referring too was not rhetorically alone in the text, but the text and death existed independently of the book. An idea, believe it or not, that some people in my school, including my plagiarist Dominic Boyer, believed, adhered to and might still believe or using as an "intelligentsia" ideological power weapon of mass destruction. Prof. Rooney is probably furious with my using in this chapter multiple words in constellations as she believes it adds a kind of rhetorical powerlessness, a very interesting idea. I reply with: what about the patriarchal invention of the dictionary? One could argue that the OED and the work of Webster allowed English to become the master tongue --
see a future chapter about the English language being why the Allies won World War II, which my best friend in The Central Intelligence Agency, Daniel Ellsberg, another person who might have logically disappeared instead of died as he had a phone number and address several months after he would have become a Catholic mess of worms and mould. The Malcolm Forbes Modern Culture and Media Center in 1993 after I pill-popped six zoloft following a covert action that the CIA is letting out in Belize, like the real Laos or Cambodia, not The Fawkland Islands' War. If this "silly rumour" no one I knew took seriously, we would not have had 9-11, The Iraq War II, or the current Afghanistan War as Tenet was unaware of my being on his side as the Covert Director of the Central Intelligence Agency from Webster to my promotion ro Deputy Director of The Central Intelligence Agency in 2004, a necessity supposedly due to Tenet's own sexist tendencies, as judged by Fmr. President William Jefferson Clinton and probably conditioned into him, I believe unconsciously, by First Lady Hillary so she would have an easy time getting into office. "Safe and secure" Hillary Rodham Clinton is by all standards by anyone in the "real know" or a member of The United Nations, the most dangerous politician since Hitler. I want to run in 2020, but feel obligated to stop her. I have seen the prisons built by "her people;" I have seen the propaganda being created around her that she is being set up to admire. I am fluent in the real history of World War II. I am even concerned about being treated like Chancellor Werner in my own administration in preparation, when the camps had already started without his knowledge. Matriarchal government, I believe, with many in intelligence agreeing is too dangerous when weapons of mass destruction and "overpopulation" exists. Perhaps simply because instinctually Mother Hen will kill to keep her chicks/citizens alive making everything else a Subjectless Other with bueaucracy allowing women to gain control with simple laws and policies instead of leadership, a failure demonstrated in the simple law Stephanie Glakas-Tenet created claiming I asked to have full media on my HIPPA file when I went overt. A simple law
giving her control. A simple law. Fuck you. I am not consciously responsibile. There was a simple law that I did not have the right to free thought, which was overruled in a quiet Supreme Court hearing this January, so I could believe conspiracies exist. Once again, fuck you, cunts, all cunts as far as I can tell, who knew I was a patriarchally-based individual and have no respect for women (note the carefully chosen word) and believe females have a long way to go until the next woman breaks the glass ceiling, especially since my God Child was raped after conception point, her period, so is powerless, something national socialists know, who I will try to help anyway just in case she experiences a miracle. My conclusion in 2005 was WOMEN ARE THE GLASS CEILING. I have no reason to change my mind. I contacted several women Professors and administrators who seemed to have great respect for me at Brown University regarding acceptance into the Brown faculty club as an adjunct professor and who I thought would be pleased mentors when they found out Jacques Derrida considered me his sole mentee, but all but the non-American, non-bourgeoise and above ones have been rational about my supposed "irrational, unproved demand for tenure" that they would have given Jacques Derrida, exactly as he told me to do to prove his theory about women and class, or Jacques Lezra in a heartbeat. Or even the pathetic, nerdy, bore of a plagiarist Dominic Boyer, moved to Rice from the Cornell or University of Chicago tenured professor route by me without saying a word. People in the know know not to talk. That's a sick commonplace of the upper-class. Sexual relations ("it's in there, right?") are the accusation I get when male mentors have so
