CHAIR'S MESSAGE

Hi Santee!

My two-year term as Chair of the Santee Chamber of Commerce ends this December. Serving in this role has been an incredible journey. The camaraderie within the Chamber is remarkable, and being part of this supportive network is truly gratifying. When I joined the board, I was just proud and excited to be involved in my business community. Unintentionally influenced by my Dad's active role in the board when I was very young, following in his path felt genuinely rewarding.

As co-owner of Raceway Electric & Solar, the joy of working alongside local businesses and connecting with those driven to make a positive impact in Santee has been truly fulfilling. The growth of businesses, including ours, underscores the Chamber's key role in fostering a thriving local economy through collaboration and networking. The shared dedication to enhancing Santee has left a lasting impression, and I'm confident the Chamber will continue to be a catalyst for positive change through strong networks and partnerships.

I would be remiss not to mention the tireless work of our CEO, Kristen Dare. Kristen's dedication, vision, and continued efforts have been instrumental in the Chamber's accomplishments during my tenure. Collaborating closely with her and the board have been both insightful and fulfilling, and I am optimistic that the Chamber will continue to achieve significant milestones.

The collaborative spirit and commitment demonstrated by each board member have been key to the Chamber's success. Comprising local business owners and dedicated business professionals highly engaged in our Santee community, it has been a pleasure working side by side with this committed group. I am excited to be passing the baton to Susie Parks, owner of The Coffee Corner.

As my official term winds down, our family business is excited about finding new ways to support the Chamber, contributing to the continued success and prosperity of Santee businesses. Here's to the next chapter of collaboration and growth.
