On 17 and 18 July, Santa Sophia Catholic College held a Student LED Conferences to kickstart the new term! It's been a fantastic opportunity for students, teachers and parents to come together and reflect on the achievements and challenges of Semester 1, while setting goals for Semester 2. At Santa Sophia, we firmly believe in empowering our students to take charge of their learning journey, fostering a sense of ownership and active engagement in their academic progress. The student-led approach provides a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration among students, parents, and teachers alike. Extensive educational research supports the impact of this approach—when students can reflect, evaluate, set goals, communicate, and collaborate, it significantly enhances student achievement and growth.
