On 17 and 18 July, Santa Sophia Catholic College held a Student LED Conferences to kickstart the new term!
It's been a fantastic opportunity for students, teachers and parents to come together and reflect on the achievements and challenges of Semester 1, while setting goals for Semester 2. At Santa Sophia, we firmly believe in empowering our students to take charge of their learning journey, fostering a sense of ownership and active engagement in their academic progress. The student-led approach provides a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration among students, parents, and teachers alike Extensive educational research supports the impact of this approach when students can reflect, evaluate, set goals, communicate, and collaborate, it significantly enhances student achievement and growth.

100days of Kindy and Grandparents Day
On Friday 28 July, Santa Sophia Catholic College celebrated 100 Days of Kindergarten and Grandparents Day
Our adorable kindergartners transformed into charming old souls, showcasing their fantastic costumes in the hall . They did an incredible job in dressing up and truly embraced the spirit of the event!
It was a heartwarming day celebrating Grandparents Day at our school! Our Year 14 students had the most incredible time bonding with their amazing grandparents during the Open Classrooms. From arts and crafts to storytelling and laughter, the day was filled with unforgettable moments that we captured in these lovely photos. Thank you to all the grandparents who joined us for making this day so special.
