ONLINE, APRIL 22: “LANNAN FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES PLAN TO CLOSE BY 2032”
RADICAL AND AMAZING Well this is a bummer. So many radical, amazing people came through New Mexico because of Lannan.

PARTICULARLY MOVING I loved the Reporter’s recent article about the New Mexico Roll of Attorneys. It was fascinating to learn about the gaps in the Roll during the last major pandemic and about the history of the signers. It was particularly moving to learn about Mr. Malone, New Mexico’s first Black attorney. Signing the Roll is a grand tradition for New Mexico’s new lawyers and it’s good to learn that the tradition is now revived. Kudos to Jeff Proctor for his reporting on this story.
