On his early days in Los Alamos and stopping at the popular teahouse, run by Edith Warner, on the road between Santa Fe and Los Alamos: “For fun we went skiing and we went hiking and occasionally we would go down to Santa Fe. But somehow I never got a bite of Edith’s chocolate cake.”
