ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Sanika—an architect and interior designer with a deep love for creating spaces that tell stories. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that design isn’t just about aesthetics or function; it’s about people. It reflects their ethos, carries their warmth, and becomes a stage for their lives to unfold. That’s what drives me—to honor the integrity of those who inhabit the spaces I create and to craft environments that elevate their experiences.
Architecture taught me to look beyond the built environment—to question, to understand how spaces shape society, and how they, in turn, are shaped by the people who use them. But my true passion lies in the intimate relationship between people and the spaces they occupy. Interior design allowed me to dive deeper into this connection, to create experiences that feel meaningful and personal. It has taught me to listen, to value every individual’s story, and to design with intention.
This portfolio is more than just a collection of my work—it’s a glimpse into my journey as a designer. I hope it sparks inspiration, conversation, and perhaps even a shared appreciation for the spaces that shape our lives.

I’m a designer who thrives on the journey—from walking a site and connecting with the unsung heroes behind every project, to crafting unique narratives through iterative, empathetic design. Our memories shape us each journey, each place we cherish leaves an imprint. This project brings those "polaroids of happy memories" to life, weaving nostalgia into the very fabric of the space.
Inspired by familiar textures, colors, and forms, the design creates a sense of comfort and belonging, giving residents a confidence boost through their surroundings.
Set in the heart of Miami’s South Beach, within the iconic 1111 Lincoln Road, this space reinterprets personal histories into a vibrant, contemporary living experience— where every corner feels like home.

Welcome to the Bollywood Skybox Experiment – Desi Jukebox! A Bollywood superstar took Hollywood by storm with his Oscar-winning debut. Now, he’s redefining Bollywood music with Desi Jukebox, his LA-based record label, giving rising South Asian artists a global stage. At the heart of it all is his private skybox—where business meets pleasure and Bollywood beats come alive in 3D. Inspired by the rhythm and energy of Bollywood, this space visually transforms music into an immersive experience.

Ghungroo – The heartbeat of Indian classical dance! These tiny metallic bells, worn on dancers' ankles, create mesmerizing rhythms that bring movement to life.
Tabla – The soul of Bollywood beats! This iconic drum delivers intricate rhythms and electrifying energy, shaping Indian music for centuries.
Veena – The guitar of the gods! This ancient string instrument has inspired Indian melodies for generations, earning its divine status.
Gramophone – The game-changer! In 1902, it brought Bollywood’s first recorded sounds to life, revolutionizing music and film forever.

An immersion of values
Charlie Chaplin is an expression of being bold, odd, and surreal. Charlie Chaplin La Vegano is a vegan chain of restaurants with a fresh and creative look.
All the materials chosen are vegan, that convey a strong message that the restaurant believes in.
Elements of Charlie are sprinkled all over the restaurant, hat lights, cane handles, gear ceiling and a screen playing his movies.

Blending the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi with warm Japandi tones, this space is crafted to feel like an embrace—filled with personalized elements that capture the essence of Pune, the city they have always called home. Every detail, from textures to decor, is a reflection of their past, turning the house into a living memory.
Thoughtful, serene, and deeply personal—Solitude is where design meets emotion, creating a space that feels both timeless and familiar.
