Chip is a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of experience in both public accounting and the business sector, where he has held CFO roles for various companies.

In 2012, Chip honed his focus on real estate by partnering with his wife, Kelley, to build and manage a portfolio of single-family rental properties. Over three years, they acquired nine properties, with Kelley leveraging her expertise as a real estate professional to manage their assets. By optimizing their tax strategy and using accelerated depreciation, they were able to generate significant tax savings that boosted their cash flow.

In 2016, they took a major step by syndicating the purchase of a 51-unit multifamily apartment complex, where they applied a value-add strategy that doubled the property's worth in just two years. After a successful refinance, they expanded their investments into larger multi-family properties, syndicating a 204-unit complex just before the COVID-19 pandemic. This venture, like others, benefited from their hands-on management approach and strategic financial oversight, culminating in lucrative sales in 2020 and 2024, respectively.
