GASPARD JUSTICE Gaspard Augé is one half of headliners “Justice”. I sat down with him to ask him some vital questions ahead of Temple Festival. Are you looking forward to Temple? Extremely excited, the line up looks incredible and just glad to be a part of it. What expectations do you have for Temple? I’ve got high expectations for this festival, with a lot of respectable impressive artists and some new ones even I’m looking forward to seeing.

Hows it feel to perform in front of massive crowds? I still get nervous but we like to perform in front of our fans, it gives music a more personal touch. I absolutely loved your recent album “Audio,Video,Disco” do you have any plans for a new album? We do have something in the works at the moment, it’s still a work in progress but should be coming out next year. Will you be playing any tracks from this new album? You’ll just have to come and see us *winks*.

Justice will be playing Stage 1 at 12:00pm on Saturday 23rd.

ED CHEMICAL BROTHERS Ed Simons is one half of the popular, well known Chemical Brothers. I sat down with him to ask a few burning questions ahead of Temple. What will you be playing at Temple? We will be kicking off with some of our older songs like “superstar DJ” and “Galvanise”. Then moving into some newer stuff like “Swoon”. What do you think of the line up? The line up is very impressive. Temple has the best of the best in this genre, everyones in for a treat. Hows it feel to perform in front of massive crowds? It’s always nerve racking but in the end it’s exciting and exhilarating! You Produced a song for the 2012 Olympics, was that an interesting project? Yeah it was interesting to produce something that would be part of something so prestigous as the olympics. We were extremely grateful for the opportunity. Is anything on the horizon for Chemical Brothers? We have a new album in the works but it’s very early stages, it should be available for release sometime next year. The Chemical Brothers will be playing Stage 1 at 14:30pm on Sunday 24th.

KIESA

KIESZA

Kiesza has been taking the UK charts by storm with “Hideaway” great dance track. I caught up with her ahead of Temple. “Hideaway” is a brilliant track but the music video is incredible, was it hard to film? Hahaha, yeah it had to be filmed all in one take which could make filming quite difficult especially when the choregraphy is so detailed, but we managed it. Are you excited to perform at Temple? Yes extremely excited, but a little nervous too. Surrounded by all the talented musicians it’s a dream come true. Did you ever think your track “Hideaway” would become such a loved track? I thought that it might be one of my more successful tracks but nothing prepared me for how much support I have received over it. What will you be playing this year? I have some naughty house beats and a couple of remixes/covers to rock the crowds at temple this year. Any collaborations in the pipeline that we can look forward to? Not Yet but you never know. I could meet some DJ’s that might want to collaborate. Kiesza will be playing Stage 1 at 17:00pm on Friday 22nd.

ANNIE MAC Annie Mac has been a long standing Radio 1 DJ and has been making impressions on big festivals. I sat down with her ahead of Temple. Have you got any new bangers for us? I have got some amazing songs to play everyone. I have some classics as well. The crowd will be jumping!

You’ve been Djing on Radio 1 for 10 years, is it different when doing a Radio set to a live dj set? The nervousness is still there in both instances, but doing the radio show is much less nerve racking but thats why I love it. Who would you go see if you were going to this festival? Definitely go see Vintage Culture and KANT. They are blowing up the house scene at the moment.

Do you enjoy Djing now as much as you did when you started? I will always love it, it’s my passion and I could never give it up. I still love every opportunity I get to play my sets.

What would you say to aspiring DJ’s around the world? Keep practicing and keep the dream alive, theres nothing more beautiful than music. It’s worth it in the end. Annie Mac will be playing Stage 3 at 17:00pm on Sunday 24th.

QUENTIN

MR.OIZO

Quentin Dupieux, also known as Mr.Oizo has always been in our hearts when it comes to Electro music. You’ve been getting into filming recently hows that been? I love the art of film and the release of my new films “wrong” and “wrong cops” have spurred me on to play music again.

You used your old “STADE” albums for the soundtracks of your films, will you be playing these albums at temple? Maybe *winks* people seem to like Stade 2 & 3 so I will be playing some of those tracks. You’ve been Djing for a while, do you still get nervous when faced with big crowds? Sometimes yes, but I find having a cigarette I’m calm and can perform without being nervous. Do you have anything new in the works? I have a couple of ideas for some new tracks but nothing major yet. What are you looking forward to most about Temple? I’m looking forward to performing in front of my fans, it’s been too long. Mr. Oizo will be playing Stage 1 at 00:30am on Saturday 23rd.
