The Chamber is a membership, volunteer-led organization. As the voice for businesses, the Chamber of Commerce monitors the local government to identify issues that affect local businesses. The Chamber also works closely with the Key Biscayne government to accomplish mutually beneficial goals.

Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center The Visitors Center is connected to the Chamber’s office on the first floor of the Key Biscayne Police/Administration Building. A blue and white sign bearing the universal “i” for information directs motorists from Crandon Boulevard. Tourists – or residents – looking to have fun on the Key find maps, brochures, coupons, a bulletin board with news of local events and lists of things to do, Island Life magazine and The Islander News. Local businesses, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, Crandon Park and Miami Seaquarium have provided information. Furthermore, a listing of local restaurants is available, as are details about hotels and shopping in the area.

A ceviche tartar is made of corvina fish, red pepper, spices and a special sauce made with lemon and vinegar.
