Research Methods Supporting Topics for the 10 Visual Tenets For each of the 10 visual tenet criteria, a minimum of two academic sources are cited to support the importance of each. The supporting topics included in each section are either addressed by a case study or academic literature. The supporting topics are all sustainably orientated. In the Streetscapes enhancement visual tenet section, street trees, riparian buffers, complete streets, and raingardens are addressed. These supporting topics are not direct elements of the SCCP application; however, they are means by which application criteria may be addressed. The supporting topics are displayed in table 1 below.
