Research, reports and journal articles 1.1 Fresh Start – Integrating Survivors of Modern Slavery (March 2017) The Centre for the Study of International Slavery (CSIS) at Liverpool University publishes a report which assesses an innovative solution to the problem of long-term care for survivors of modern slavery in the UK. report, released by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), focuses on the various attempts made by financial institutions to increase law enforcement agencies’ efforts to disrupt human trafficking. https://rusi.org/sites/default/files/201703_rusi_ disrupting_human_trafficking.pdf 1.3 Understanding and Responding to Modern Slavery within the Homelessness Sector (January 2017) The Passage publishes a report which looks at the link between modern slavery and homelessness. It explores the experiences of homelessness organisations across England in working with victims of modern slavery who have been homeless.
