Carmelite Medal Winners

Madeline Hall ’21 and Jorge Ruiz ’21 received the prestigious Carmelite Medals at the Class of 2021 graduation. The medal is awarded every year to two exemplary Lancers who live our Carmelite values and exhibit excellence in and out of the classroom.

Fr. Paul Henson, O.Carm., described Madeline at graduation as an “extraordinarily gifted young woman, stellar student, accomplished athlete, and an involved member of the community.” Madeline was a Salpointe Scholar, AP Scholar with Honors and a member of the National Honor Society. She also spent many hours volunteering at the VA Hospital and Pima Animal Care Center.

Fr. Paul commended Jorge at graduation for being “a very caring young man who always puts others before himself.” Jorge was a Salpointe Scholar and AP Scholar with Honors while working many hours each week to support his family. Jorge served as a peer tutor, member of the Kino Teens Club and played a vital role in the Horizons Yearbook Club.

Celebrating Seniors

The Salpointe Alumni Council and a team of volunteers made sure that members of the Class of 2021 received graduation yard signs to proudly display at their homes in celebration of their many accomplishments over the last four years.

Lancer Sisters 2021/2025

Sophia ’21 and Chloe ’25 Waterfall both received yard signs this spring. Sophia is a graduating senior from the Class of 2021 and Chloe will join the Class of 2025 next fall.
