Agli specialisti del mercato del contract non è sfuggito il radicale cambiamento di tendenza nell’impiego delle sedute da ristorazione e la nascita di un nuovo “segmento” a metà tra il ristorante ed il bar. La sedia/lounge, con elevato contenuto di design e dalla dimensioni limitate (non a caso questa tendenza si impone nei grandi centri urbani come Milano, Londra, Parigi o New York) risponde alla domanda di un prodotto fashion ove design e funzione si fondono in un concetto unico irripetibile. We’ve seen major changes in the contract market over recent years and a revolution in the way we choose and use restaurants. Some venues are increasingly seen as a meeting point and not just a place where to eat. With this changing pattern, restaurants are increasingly viewed as a crossover between a restaurant and a bar. This new concept/trend for the dining area calls for a new concept in seating as well. Prototipo 2010 has responded to the demand for new designs with new lines featuring high design concepts blending function and comfort in a new way. The new ‘trendy’ places in major cities worldwide now use such fashionable seating, which more often than not re-interpret the past.
