Who is this Programme aimed at? The St Neots Town FC Scholarship Opportunities are aimed at passionate sports students between the ages of 16 - 18 years old. We offer you the opportunity to study academic qualifications while developing your football / sporting ability and gaining industry experience to develop as a individual.

Alongside your chosen Scholarship Option you will become a St Neots Sixth Form Student. The Sixth Form will deliver your education while with us and ensure you best for fill your potential academically in a proven high quality academic environment. The Sixth Form is part of St Neots Learning Partnership (SNLP) and their flexible approach to supporting students is what makes the relationship work so well for the programme. We believe that by partnering with an established education provider this proves our seriousness for having academic qualifications alongside sport.
The Scholarship Programme offers a perfect environment for young people who wish to develop their football or delivery skills alongside gaining appropriate vocational qualifications. The partnership with SNLP allows students to study A-Levels or BTEC qualifications or alongside the football training programme , teaching timetable or gym schedule etc... The football / sport elements are delivered by St Neots Town Football Club staff and academic lessons by SNLP Teachers to ensure specific areas of knowledge are delivered by experts in each field. The programme is aimed at any student with a genuine interest in football or sport, who may wish to pursue sports based qualifications at university, or embark on a career within the sports sector. Students can study any of the variety of courses offered at St Neots Sixth Form (subject to them being within integrated option blocks) as the academic benefits will not differ to those at the Sixth Form with no interest in Sport.
All academics for the Scholarship Programme are delivered across the partnership at St Neots Town FC (Classroom Block) and the Sixth Form Centre at Longsands Academy (10 minutes walk from the Football Club). This allows anyone wishing to study specific courses [such as A-Levels] the chance to do so without compromising on their high quality football / sport development opportunities.

Access to A-Levels Course â€“ BTEC Level 2 Technical Diploma in Sport & Activity Leadership (1 Year APS Top Up) + GCSE Maths & English retakes if required

In addition to the mini gym and treatment room at the football club we also partner with One Leisure Gym (St Neots) to ensure we provide the highest levels of physical support and injury recovery for our Scholars. This includes sessions twice a week at the Gym / Swimming Pool where players are given specific individual training programmes dependant on their playing position or injury status.

All Scholars own & wear their kit for Training & Study to represent the club, Match Day kit is provided for Fixtures.
