Program Goals: The Ed.D. Program at Saint Peter’s University School of Education prepares doctoral students for careers in educational leadership. Students completing the K-12 Educational Leadership Program will be grounded in the methodology of teaching, and develop the knowledge, competencies, ethical values, attitudes and behaviors necessary to become effective educational leaders. Students are prepared to serve a diverse range of students of varying ages, ethical, racial, cultural, religious, and social backgrounds, lifestyles and abilities. Program Outcomes: • Students will demonstrate advanced knowledge of concepts, theories, research design and statistical methods associated with his/her professional area.

Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership Program

• Students will demonstrate knowledge of methods for research. • Students will demonstrate competence in professional practice through the application of theories associated with his/her content or professional area. • Students will acquire the knowledge, skills and insights to plan, develop, and execute strategic planning in order to achieve positive institutional change.
