Our Story Saint Ignatius’ College is a strong community steeped in more than 73 years of learning and growth. This vibrant college is part of a global network of Jesuit schools and universities, drawing upon 500 years of innovative educational practices. Learning and teaching at Saint Ignatius’ College promotes a culture of intellectual rigour and high academic standards.
We are a Catholic school deeply embedded in the Jesuit tradition and committed to forming young people who look beyond themselves. Saint Ignatius’ College is on an ambitious journey with its Strategic Plan for 2024–2028, which aims to integrate Jesuit mission and Ignatian spirituality into modern contexts while continuing to innovate to optimise the development of young people.
The Strategic Plan is the result of deep consultations with students, staff, parents, governance, and members of our community, reviewing key pillars of learning, student wellbeing, co-curricular activities, and mission. This process has equipped the College to enhance and invigorate the future with fresh, forward-thinking ideas that will greatly benefit students in their lives beyond the College.
