I think we can all agree this weather is fabulous (at least in the western provinces) – spring is officially here and my Tulips and Daffodils have been telling me that for the last few weeks. I was down in the Fraser Valley as well as Coquitlam two weeks ago for the Quarter Horse Bazaar and things are definitely ‘spring’ing up there. This issue hosts our Annual Fashion Feature, YES for men too! So check out pages 51 to 65 and see what’s new in riding and casual Cheryle Hickman (Rein-Beau Images) and wear (even dressy!) for you and your four me at Mane Event 2009 legged buddies (equine and canine). April will be busy for Saddle Up as we are off to The Mane Event in Red Deer, then the following weekend the Hunter/Jumper Spring Classic at Kelowna Riding Club. Two weekends in a row... that will be rough - so we’d appreciate if you could call or e-mail us by the April 15th deadline to ensure your ad gets in the May issue. CLUBS: can you please send in your news no later than April 18? That would help guarantee your spot. Just a reminder, you (should) know we are a small business, and the manpower is limited... so any help you can give us (me) would be greatly appreciated. As I’ve said before... am looking for a clone... but no one has applied (little pay – great rewards!). See you at the shows! Can hardly wait!
