QUARANTYNE DAYS

Hello, I will tell you how my quarantine days have been during the Covid-19 stage, that is during the confinement.

First of all, I wanted to tell you that it has been a very hard period of time for both students an all people that perform important professions, mainly ; I would highlight education and health care.

Focusing on quarantine days, the first days of quarantine were total chaos, since no one would have imagined that we would meet in these extreme circumstances; I better adapted to this whole situation, that is, I thought that this quarantine was like a problem that life proposed to us to realize the great varities of people that there are and whose purpose is to make us aware of the assurances that we have to have from now on in our future life, in short they have been very busy days doing activities, jobs and many more things.

In conclusiรณn, I believe that this pandemic can be overcome if all the rules proposed by the government are respected avoiding unnecessary travel, meetings of many people, but the most beautiful thing of all will be the day when you can kiss your grandparents, cousins, uncles and all those peolple who love you so much!!

A special day celebration

WRITING The special day is Chritsmas holiday, because I meet my family in my gradma’s house.

On Chritmas holiday, on New Year´s Eve we had fish, meat, rice, pasta for dinner and for dessert grapes for everyone.

I ate tuna pie because is a traditional celebration, Ingredients: - tuna -red pepper - green pepper

- puff pasty - fried tomato No, I didn’t have the problems during the cooking Preparation: First preheate the over to 200ºC degrees.

Then chop the peppers into strips.

Put oil in the frying pan, then fry the pepper, add the tuna and add fried tomato and stir.

Then put the puff pastry in baked sheet and put the mixture, and cover it.

Finally bake it for 25 to 30 minutes It was delicious!

I think that my family and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner

HARD TIMES: THE QUARANTINE ___

NAME: SABAH MOUSSA HASSANI 4 ºEso B

I never imagined it, this was something surrealistic. At first it was something that I did not give much importance and I thought it was just a lie and soon they were going to find the medicine for the cure.But every morning I saw the news and each time the death toll was rising.

But not everything from this epidemic is negative because we have learned many things and thanks to this, we have realized how nice it is being in person, in blood and flesh, with people much more than through screens and meeting our friends in the street.

These three months have been quite burdened but we have shown that we can work in all circumstances if we really have interest.

I especially have learned that simple things like hugging and kissing are so important in our lives.

It may be very difficult to return to being like before, but we will gradually get used to this new life.

Looking on the bright side we have spent more time with our families.

This year is going to be a great memory for everyone, good and bad equally.

Quarentine time In this quarentine, I haven´t done anything productive apart of studying.

Some people have done exercise, paints, recipes, art in general or things like playing videogames all day… In my case, the last option is the most similar. At the beginning of confinement, I was playing videogames with my friends through calls which could go on for hours, a lot of hours. Later, I started to see videos in YouTube all the time and I was discovered one thing that changed my way of life: GTA V ROLEPLAY. From then on, I have seen lives from this game of Auronplay or Reborn_live on Twitch because is like a film but in game. I love the characters and I love the people who are behind from this. I have fallen in love with Reborn because his voice is from another universe, I don’t know how he is physically, I don’t know where he lives, I don’t know how old he is but, I don’t need this to notice that I love him. This show has made me the happiest person during the quarentine.

Biography: Iván Torres – Efecto PasilloBy Carla Ambrosio González . 4º B (SLEI) His name is Iván Torres, He is from Gran Canaria and is the singer of Efecto Pasillo in 1982, he was born in Jinamar. He has Brown eyes, he is bald and medium.

He always wears a hat and sometimes a cap.

He is famous because he sings very well. He and his group have released three albums and in my opinión he is very positive with all, very happy and very hardworking.

I like this person because his songs are very beautiful and it isn´t reggeton and it gives you good vibes.

Wrïtïñg Things I learned this quarantine The time I've been home I have not learned many new thing but if I have done more things that I like and could not do however I learned to play The Magnificent Seven with the clarinet also I have cleaned until the last space of my closet and I got new clothes because my mother did the same and she gave me clothes that were too small as well I read very interesting books in addition I helped my sister and my cousin with his homework.

And since I couldn’t see my friends I made a video call with my friend and my favourite cousin.

But now I can’t go out because I have a lot of allergy and I get very bad.

My experience in quarantine

Most of the time I have been doing homework and completing homework but I have also had a lot of fun.

I remember…

My uncle had broken his leg and i took care of his dogs, my uncle’s dog had puppies and i fed and played with them.

My mon and me made an apple pie, it was Delicious!!

I had to do a task of Physical Education and as I didn’t know how to do it, m mun and me did it and we had fun!

“SAPILLOS” A special day celebration.

BY IVÁN MATÍAS DÍAZ - 4º B (SLEI) I live in Navalmoral de la Mata, Spain, and we have a lot of delicious local dishes. One of the most famous ones is “Sapillos”.

“Sapillos” are eaten only in special days. One of these is celebrated in April and I eat “Sapillos” with my whole family, cousins, uncles, friends etc.

This récipe can be eaten at any time of the day but only during a special week as tradition says.

They are not difficult to make, you just have to practise like grandmothers.

The ingredients to make this recipe are not difficult to find.

You will need: milk, eggs, bread, flour and orange.

The “Sapillos” are made mixing the eggs, the milk and the bread (grated) and frying it in a pan.

A special day for me.

By Aitana García Algovia. 4º D (Slei) My special day is my birthday, I celebrate it with my family and friends. It is very important for me.

I spend the day with my family and Friends.

We have a chocolate cake as a special dessert because I love chocolate.

I didn´t have any problem cooking it because my mother helped me.

Ingredients: Chocolate, cream, biscuits, sugar, sweets and milk.

I had the cake in the morning and after lunch with my family.

Day of Guadalupeñas

By Alejandra González García - 4º B (Slei) I want to talk about a special day in my country called the day of Las Guadalupeñas. This is a day to celebrate when the virgin of my village, Guadalupe, was found.

This day everybody goes out to the streets and go near “Guadalupeñas”, there we eat a lot of different meals and food, like for example “migas”, “tortilla de patatas”, “morcilla guadelupeña” and “caldereta” made with lamb.

The ingredients of this caldereta are: Lamb meat, potatoes, carrots, onions and leek.

Everything has to boil slowly until it is completely cooked.

Thanks giving day. A special day in USA.

In the US, the celebration is often recognised as an event that took place when English colonists held a feast to thank Native Americans for helping them start their new lives in the US. It Is a holiday celebrated by Americans on the fourth Thursday of November.

It celebrates the story of the Pilgrim´s meal with the Native Americans and is reserved as a day to spend with the loved ones and for giving thanks. Most families observe with a large meal and sometimes a religious service.

These families eat turkey wtith stuffing, smashed potatoes, gravy cranberry sauce and corn with a bean casserole and also candied yams, it’ a difficult recipe!!
