Adult Swim Lessons

Fall 1 (8 week session) August 21 – October 15

Fall 2 (8 week session) October 22 – December 16

Sign up for one or more days. Beginner and intermediate classes have a maximum of 6 participants. No classes on September 3 - 4, October 31, November 23.

Adult Beginner

Teaches breath control, floating, flutter kick, treading water, backstroke and front crawl. Upon the start of the session, swimmers must be able to put their face under water and be comfortable floating with a life vest. Private lessons are recommended for those who do not meet minimum criteria.

Wednesday • 6:15 to 7 p.m.

Thursday • 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Saturday • 7:45 to 8:30 a.m.

Adult Intermediate Classes

Advanced Swim Lessons

Experienced coaches will teach refined swimming techniques and provide a structured workout. Ideal for triathletes, competitive swimmers and those who have progressed from intermediate classes. Coaches will tailor practices to meet the goals of participants and combine technique training with conditioning sets. Upon start of the session, swimmers must be able to swim 100 yard of freestyle continuously.

Tuesday • 5 to 5:45 a.m.

Wednesday • 10:15 to 11 a.m.

Saturday • 7 to 7:45 a.m.

Teaches a more refined front crawl and backstroke while introducing elementary backstroke and breaststroke. Upon the start of the session, swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. This class is not intended for those who can already swim over 100 yards freestyle continuously.
