NEW! Swim Team Development

In this program your child will learn technique and conditioning sets, similar to swimmers on highly competitive swim teams. If they are registered for a minimum of two days of swim lessons, there will be a discounted fee for participation in the swimmer strength and conditioning program. As part of the program, start and turn clinics will be offered. This is an ideal way to continue developing as a competitive swimmer while balancing other sports and activities. Youth 5 level or higher is required to participate. If your child is new to the Healthplex, a swim evaluation is required.

Swim Conditioning will reinforce the technique learned in our swim classes while developing their endurance and speed. These swim practices will combine drills for improving technique with conditioning sets to improve their endurance, breath control, and speed.

Swimmer Strength and Conditioning will teach proper technique for common athletic exercises as well as swimming specific exercises and stretches. The focus is on injury preventative exercises and developing proper technique muscle memory to prepare swimmers for high intensity training with a lower risk of injury.
