Stutterheim Round Table 103 once again convened the Stutt Stumble 21km, 15km and 7.5km trail run and 5km fun run/walk. We linked up with the local farmers‟ market which was held at Eagles Ridge on the 1 June 2019. After a slow start to the morning, the participants started to show up in their droves and in the end, we were so proud to see that we had attracted 249 participants this year! The participants were made up as follows: 5km – 57, 7.5km – 74, 15km – 72 and 21km – 46. The comments from participants were fantastic to hear. The famous “Don‟t tell mom” hill was cursed all day again, but everyone was so proud of themselves for accomplishing it. Events like this would not succeed without the support of businesses and individuals alike. One of the biggest draws of many events is a T-shirt to commemorate participation. Providing these would not have been possible if it was not for the sponsorship received from local businesses. Our main sponsor this year was Meyers Motors. Without their contribution we may not have been able to provide the incentive of 230 T-shirts again this year. Other sponsors were Yebo Tanks, Rance Timber, Newden, Collets pharmacy, Multi-trust, GDH Harvesting, The Croft Cottages, East Cape fuels, Stutt Poles, CGI Brokers, C&E Bodyworks. Also, a big thank you to Amahlati Municipality and Amathole Forestry Company for the use of the land. Special thanks to the Table Legs and Tablers for all the effort and hours spent on ensuring the success of the Stutt Stumble. Results for the different events were as follows:

Yours in Table, Sean Richter
