Re~Prose DEAR RSA MEMBERS: First of all, the RSA Executive Office wants to thank everyone who attended the RSA Fall Shareholders’ Meeting in New Orleans. It was one of the most highly member represented meetings in RSA history. In addition, it was important for a variety of other reasons as well, many of which we will recap here in this month’s newsletter. Secondly, the member survey is now live. This is a vital component of measuring RSA performance and communicating ways to increase the value the RSA provides. Your response to the survey provides the RSA Board of Directors the keys to developing content for the RSA education programs at the semi-annual meetings. You should have received an email with a link to the survey, but the survey link is also housed in the RSA Forum and can be accessed there. If you cannot access the forum please contact Tyler Hardy immediately, so you can get a link. Thank you all for your cooperation. We look forward to sharing the results with you in April.

MESSAGE FROM RSA PRESIDENT: KIM LONG HELLO AND WELCOME BACK FROM NEW ORLEANS!

Kim Long RSA President

I want to thank all of those who took the time from their busy schedules to participate in the fall meeting. The city was certainly busy with those attending the SGIA, APDSP (formerly the IRgA), ReproMAX and RSA meetings. I hope that everyone managed to take back at least one idea to assist them in the operations of their companies.

As our industry continues to evolve every day, the blueprints of rapid change in technology will continue to impact our businesses and the economy. Who would have thought we would be printing electronic circuits in T-shirts? Who would have thought we would be looking to sell Drones, 3D Scanners, and the likes of other forms of construction site technology? Who would have thought that we would want to be the ones that manage the data, considering that he who holds the data is King? - THIS IS OUR NEW WORLD! I was reading a report about the Age of Disruption in Canada and they made a comment that, although I knew, it made me stop and think - “The High School Class of 2015 have never known a world without the Internet or Google” THIS IS OUR NEW CLIENT and we had better be ready for them.
