Re~Prose Welcome to 2018 2018 is off to a rapid start here at the RSA... unbelievable that we are two-months into the year already, not only that the start of 2018 has been positive. We kicked off the year with two of our more important Gateway Tradeshows: National Home Builders Association Tradeshow in Orlando, FL, and World of Concrete in Las Vegas, NV. These two tradeshows resulted in over 250 news leads for the RSA and 15 (and counting) sales, 4 of which were sold directly from the tradeshow floor. The Gateway Program continues to be beneficial to the RSA and we are constantly searching for new opportunities to enhance the program ever further as a way of benefitting all of the RSA Members. We have 3 more tradeshows left in 2018 and I think they will provide some great potential to the RSA and its members. Our newsletter, re~Prose, will also undergo some significant changes as we kick off 2018. The publication will now occur once every other month. This change reflects the comments in our annual member survey in which the RSA Membership reported that though they enjoyed the newsletter the content was a bit light in terms of providing value to the membership. This change will allow us to provide additional benefit, while still providing great and original content. Looking ahead to the remainder of 2018 we have some great and positive

changes coming both for the Executive Office and the RSA Membership. One of the biggest goals is to improve the overall form and function of the RSA website. The website is a crucial repository of information and at present we lack the ability to quickly find information that is vital to the overall success of members.

We want a website that will quickly allow you to log on, grab the information you need, and continue to operate your business without delay... because you are unable to locate a document that is vital to your operations. This will be one of the many brand improvement changes we look to implement in 2018. We will be discussing other fascinating improvements as we get closer to developing them. Lastly, I will be reaching out to each of you over the course of the year. My goal is to develop a stronger rapport with each of you and really hone in on what value the Marketing and Communications department can deliver to you the member, but also the wider membership. I look forward to speaking with each of you and can’t wait to see where 2018 takes us!
