W H AT ’ S N E W THE RRPL SEED LIBRARY IS OPEN!
In partnership with the Cleveland Seed Bank, RRPL has opened a Seed Library. It allows people to ‘check-out’ up to five free packets of seeds per month off herb, vegetable, and flower seeds. There is a limited variety of each seed and we can’t guarantee that a specific type of seed will be available. Please stop at the Reference Desk for more information. THE HUMAN LIBRARY VISITS RRPL
Unjudge someone at the Human Library this summer. On August 22, we’ll give patrons the opportunity to borrow a human “book” and have conversations they would not normally have access to. The human books on our bookshelf will represent groups in our society that are often subjected to prejudice, stigmatization or discrimination. We are looking for volunteers for our project. If you are interested in serving as a book for our human library, please email humanlibrary@rrpl.org to apply.
