Covering Home, presented by Ashley HomeStore, is a community volunteer initiative comprised of Round Rock Express ownership and staff. Built on an Express Core Value of "passionately participating in the community," we instill in our employees that the platform of baseball should be used as a vehicle for service. Covering Home was initially launched in early 2016 to offer ownership, staff, players and coaches opportunities to give back to the community at least twelve times a year. By choosing a new organization or cause with whom to partner each month, volunteers can participate in initiatives that are important to them. The Round Rock Express and Ashley HomeStore will work together to donate time and resources to local organizations that better the community we call home.
