Rockin’ Rotterdam
This book is a result of a photography project by The Royal Photographic Society - Benelux Chapter. The aim was to take one creative photo “in every street” within the Rotterdam ring road (A4, A15, A16 and A20) in the Netherlands.
Members and non-members were able to participate and submit photos with variety in the images being an important consideration. Several meetups were organised, and participants were able to work on their own or with others. Photographers could also choose to work for one special “Own a Postcode” neighbourhood area, an opportunity some took advantage of as they would own all images in that area.
There was one important restriction: only one image per street name. The 47 postcodes covered there were almost 2.800 streets to shoot. In this book you find some of the images created by the 93 photographers who were involved in this fascinating project.
