Ex Pietri collection, France, second half of the 19th century; collection of Cazalis de Fondouce à Montpelier, end of the 19th century. Said to have been found in Sicily.

11 ROMAN MARBLE PORTRAIT HEAD OF A WOMAN OF FASHION. Her hair is centrally parted, elaborately braided, and gathered into a navicular bun on top of her head in the style of Annia Cornificia Faustina, sister of Marcus Aurelius.
