ABOUT ME I AM CLOSE TO FINISHING A SIXTEEN-MONTH GRADUATE PLACEMENT, WHERE I AM WORKING AS A DESIGNER FOR A BESPOKE GARDEN BUILDINGS MANUFACTURER. TO MOVE FORWARD FROM HERE I AM LOOKING TO ENTER A PERMANENT POSITION THAT WOULD CHALLENGE MY ABILITIES AS A DESIGNER. I CONSIDER MYSELF A HARD-WORKING INDIVIDUAL WHO PRODUCES A HIGH STANDARD OF WORK. GOOD ORGANISATION AND A KEEN INTEREST IN DESIGN HAVE HELPED ME THROUGH MY UNIVERSITY STUDIES AND IN MY WORK AS A DESIGNER. DURING MY TIME AT UNIVERSITY I VOLUNTEERED MY DESIGN SKILLS TO HELP OUT WITH THE BRANDING FOR A TWO START-UP COMPANIES. THIS WAS BOTH FOR ENJOYMENT AND TO PRACTISE NEW TECHNIQUES.

GRADUATE PLACEMENT DESIGNER - LARGELY INVOLVED WITH THE DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE OF ALL BESPOKE GARDEN BUILDINGS, MATERIALS MANAGEMENT FOR PROJECTS AND SURVEYING SITES FOR LARGE INSTALLATIONS. I TRAVELLED TO THE USA TO INSTALL A LARGE GREENHOUSE, THIS WAS THE FIRST THAT THE COMPANY HAS SOLD TO NORTH AMERICA. UNDERGRADUATE PLACEMENT/DIPLOMA IN PROFESSIONAL STUDIES DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT INTERN - WORKING AS PART OF A DESIGN TEAM TO PRODUCE GREENHOUSE PLANS, DEVELOP ALUMINIUM EXTRUSIONS AND WORK ON THE INSTALLATION OF BESPOKE PROJECTS. MY TIME HERE INVOLVED TRAVELLING FOR DIFFERENT JOBS, INCLUDING GOING TO GERMANY.

GAMECUBE CONTROLLER


COMPUTER AIDED MODELLING AND MANUFACTURE REPLICATE AN EXISTING PRODUCT WHILST RE-DESIGNING ASPECTS TO ENHANCE HOW IT IS USED. USING ADVANCED 3D MODELLING TECHNIQUES AND EQUIPMENT THE ‘OLD SCHOOL’ GAMECUBE CONTROLLER HAS BEEN REPRODUCED TO KEEP THE RETRO STYLED BUTTON AND JOYSTICK CONFIGURATION, BUT ALSO CREATED A CUSTOMISED BACK TO THE CONTROLLER AROUND THE USER’S UNIQUE HAND GRIP. THE DATA WAS GATHERED THROUGH CREATING AN IMPRESSION OF THE USER'S HAND GRIP ON TO A CONTROLLER WITH A MALLEABLE MATERIAL. THIS MOULDED GRIP WAS THEN SCANNED USING A 3D-SCANNER AND THE SCAN TRANSFORMED IN TO A VIRTUAL CAD MODEL. A COMPLEX SURFACE MODEL WAS CREATED THROUGH REFERENCE TO THE PHYSICAL MODEL AS WELL AS THE GATHERED USER DATA.


CUSTOM HAND GRIP MOULDED USING PLASTICINE

THE UNIQUE GEOMETRY OF THE CONTROLLER WAS COPIED FROM THE PHYSICAL MODEL AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO RECREATE AN EXTREMELY ACCURATE REPRESENTATION. THIS WAS DONE THROUGH TAKING DOWN PRECISE MEASUREMENTS OF COMPONENTS , SUCH AS BUTTONS AND BOSS DEPTHS; GAUGING A MEASUREMENT FOR RADII OF EDGES, TO GIVE THE PARTS THE CORRECT SURFACE FINISH; AND REPLICATING THE SEVERITY OF CURVES THROUGHOUT THE CONTROLLER HANDLES. ALL OF THE PARTS WERE CREATED THROUGH SURFACES IN THE MASTER SKELETON MODEL, WHICH CAN BE EDITED WITH ALL OF THE CORRESPONDING PARTS CHANGING ACCORDINGLY. THE SURFACE WERE CONSTRUCTED TO GIVE THE HIGHEST QUALITY CURVATURE BETWEEN THEM, THROUGH TANGENCY AND G3 CURVATURE.

BRAKE BAR


FINAL YEAR DESIGN PROJECT THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO IMPROVE THE EASE AND CONVENIENCE OF BRAKE APPLICATION WHILST CYCLING. THE NEED FOR THIS IMPROVEMENT WAS IDENTIFIED BECAUSE OF THE RANGE OF HANDLEBAR HOLDING POSITIONS AND THE LACK OF VARIATION IN BRAKE LEVERS AVAILABLE TO ACCOMMODATE THIS. THE AIM OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO DECREASE THE USER’S BRAKING TIME THROUGH MAKING THE BRAKE LEVERS ACCESSIBLE FROM ALL AREAS OF THE HANDLEBAR. THIS REMOVED THE NEED TO ADJUST HAND POSITIONING TO APPLY A BRAKE LEVER. THIS PRODUCT ALSO IMPROVE HANDLEBAR ERGONOMICS FOR THE USER AND THE COMFORT ON THE BAR IN ALL RIDING POSITIONS. THE PRODUCT IS AIMED TOWARDS RECREATIONAL CYCLISTS, OF BOTH GENDERS, AS THIS USER GROUP IDENTIFIED THE INITIAL PROBLEM. THE RESEARCH FOR THE PROJECT WAS AIMED TOWARDS THIS AUDIENCE, SPECIFICALLY BETWEEN THE AGES 18 YEARS AND 45 YEARS, AS THIS RANGE WAS IDENTIFIED AS THE DOMINANT AGES FOR ROAD BIKE USE THAT WERE ABLE TO BE INTERVIEWED FOR THIS PROJECT.


THIS PROBLEM WAS IDENTIFIED THROUGH USER INVESTIGATION GROUPS AND ONLINE CYCLING FORUMS. AN INITIAL SURVEY WAS CONDUCTED TO GATHER FIGURES ON USER PREFERENCE AND CURRENT MARKET AVAILABILITY. FROM HERE PROPOSED IDEAS WERE TESTED ON USERS GROUPS TO GAIN FEEDBACK TO DEVELOP IDEAS AND GATHER MORE INFORMATION REGARDING USER PREFERENCES. AS THIS WAS A LARGELY USER BASED PROJECT A LOT OF GROUP SESSIONS WERE UNDERTAKEN. RESEARCH IN TO CURRENT PRODUCTS AVAILABLE IDENTIFIED THAT THERE WAS AN OPENING FOR THIS PRODUCT. THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE DESIGN WAS RESEARCHED AND TESTED TO PROVE ITS FEASIBILITY.

THE FIRST LEVER IS THE FURTHEST AWAY FROM THE BRAKE CALLIPER AND WORKS LIKE A CONVENTIONAL BIKE BRAKE LEVER, BY PULLING THE INNER CABLE THROUGH THE STATIONARY OUTER CABLE.

THE INTERRUPTER LEVER IS AN UNCOMMON METHOD OF APPLYING TWO BRAKE LEVERS TO THE SAME BRAKE CABLE. IT WORKS THROUGH PUSHING APART THE TWO OUTER CABLE SECTIONS EXPOSING MORE INNER CABLE, HENCE REDUCING THE LENGTH OF INNER CABLE WITHIN THE OUTER CABLE.

THE CABLE PULL LEVER IS AN INNOVATIVE BRAKE LEVER SYSTEM WHICH UTILIZES A SECTION OF UNCONSTRAINED BRAKE CABLING. THIS SECTION IS FIXED AT THE POINT FURTHEST AWAY FROM THE CALLIPERS AND ALLOWED TO FLOW AT THE NEAREST POINT. THIS ALLOWS BOTH THE INNER AND OUTER CABLE TO BE PULLED AWAY FROM THE CALLIPER WHICH WILL SIMULTANEOUSLY APPLY IT.

THE BRAKE CALLIPERS CAN BE APPLIED FROM ANY OF THE BRAKE LEVERS - THE RIGHT HAND LEVERS APPLY THE FRONT CALLIPERS AND THE LEFT HAND LEVERS APPLY THE REAR CALLIPERS.

THIS LEVER IS FIXED WITHIN THE TUBE PROFILE OF THE HANDLE BAR AT THE LOWEST PART OF THE HANDLEBAR DROP.

THIS LEVER IS POSITIONED AT THE TOP OF HANDLEBAR WHERE THE DROP BEND BEGINS AND WHERE A STANDARD DROP BAR LEVER WOULD BE PLACED.

THIS LEVER IS PLACED ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE FLAT TOP OF THE HANDLEBAR, SO THAT THE THERE IS AN AVAILABLE BRAKE WHILST HOLDING THE BAR FROM THIS POSITION.

THE PRE-INSTALLED BRAKE CABLE CAN BE EASILY LINKED TO ANY CABLE PULL CALLIPER.

EACH OF THE COMPONENTS IN THIS PRODUCT HAVE BEEN PUT THROUGH A MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD SELECTION PROCESS; THIS ALLOWED THE CHOICES TO BE SELECTED THAT ARE BEST SUITED TO EACH INDIVIDUAL COMPONENT. THE MAJORITY OF THE PLASTIC COMPONENTS HAVE BEEN SUITABLY PAIRED WITH INJECTION MOULDING FOR THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS BECAUSE OF THE COMPLEXITY AND THE LARGE AMOUNT OF UNITS REQUIRED. THE CUSTOM ALUMINIUM BRAKE LEVERS WILL BE MANUFACTURED THROUGH PRESSURE DIE CASTING; THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS CHOICE IS THE VERY QUICK CYCLE TIME IN COMPARISON TO THE OTHER SUITABLE MANUFACTURE METHODS.

THIS MODEL WAS MADE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FUNCTION OF THE THREE-POINT BRAKE SYSTEM, IN A VERY SIMPLE AND SLEEK APPEARANCE. THIS FUNCTIONAL MODEL WAS POSITIONED WITH THE DISPLAY STAND FOR VIEWERS TO HAVE A REAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE PROJECT.

INJECTION MOULD TOOL A SIMPLE PROMOTIONAL PENCIL SHARPENER AIMED TO ADVERTISE THE BRAND ‘SMART’. THE DESIGN IS MULTIFUNCTIONAL AS A PENCIL SHARPENER, RULER, AND A PENCIL HOLDER. THE INJECTION MOULD TOOL WAS DESIGNED USING CREO PARAMETRIC, WHILST THE FEASIBILITY OF THE MOULD WAS TESTED AND PROVED USING PLASTIC ADVISOR; A FUNCTION WITHIN CREO. BOTH OF THE MOULD HALVES AND ALL OF THE INSERTS WERE MANUFACTURED USING VARIOUS PROCESSES SUCH AS CNC MILLING, MANUAL MILLING AND CENTRE LATHING.

DETAILED ENGINEERING DRAWINGS PRODUCED FOR EACH OF THE 19 INSERTS TO COMMUNICATE ALL OF THE REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR ANY VIEWER, IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO MANUFACTURE THAT PART. THE PRECISE MANUFACTURE SIZES AND VARIOUS TOLERANCES OF EACH PART WERE DETAILED AS WELL AS THE MATERIAL. THESE PARTS WERE THEN INDIVIDUALLY MANUFACTURED. THE ALUMINIUM MOULD BLOCKS WERE MILLED DOWN SO THAT IT WAS TO THE SPECIFIED SIZE WITHIN 0.05mm AS THESE WOULD HAVE TO LINE UP PERFECTLY BEING MANUFACTURED IN HALF. THESE PART WERE THEN SHAPED USING THE CNC MILLING MACHINE TO INCLUDE THE SPRUE HOLES AND TRACKS. THE REMAINING PARTS WERE MAINLY MACHINED THROUGH MILLING TO CREATE THE FLAT AND ANGLED SURFACES. ANY CIRCULAR PARTS WERE MACHINED USING THE CENTRE LATHE, WITH THE MORE COMPLEX ONES BEING MILLED OUT AFTER THE DIAMETER HAD BEEN ACHIEVED THROUGH THE CENTRE LATHE.

EACH INDIVIDUAL IN A TEAM OF THREE WAS REQUIRED TO DESIGN AND MECHANICALLY EVALUATE A CAN-CRUSHING DEVICE, FROM THESE THREE DESIGNS ONE WILL PROCEED TO BE MANUFACTURED AND TESTED. THE DEVICE WAS REQUIRED TO ADHERE TO THE SPECIFIED REQUIREMENTS.

THE DEVICE MUST BE POWERED, NOT MANUALLY OPERATED. THE DEVICE MUST BE CAPABLE OF CRUSHING A DRINKS CAN TO 20% OF ITS ORIGINAL VOLUME. THE DEVICE MUST BE CAPABLE OF CRUSHING BOTH 330ML AND 440ML CANS. THE DEVICE MUST BE ABLE TO STORE 5 CANS READY FOR CRUSHING. THE DEVICE MUST BE CAPABLE OF SELF-LOADING AND EJECTING THE CANS. THE DEVICE MUST CRUSH 5 CANS AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT INTERVENTION. THE DEVICE MUST OPERATE VIA A SINGLE PUSH BUTTON AND CEASE WHEN ALL STORED CANS ARE CRUSHED. • THE DEVICE MUST BE CAPABLE OF OPERATING WITH TWICE THE ACTUAL FORCE REQUIRED TO CRUSH A CAN. THIS WILL ACT AS A FACTOR OF SAFETY THE DEVICE WILL BE CAPABLE OF CRUSHING 5 CANS IN UNDER 1 MINUTE TOTAL.

THE ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED CAN-CRUSHING DEVICE WAS SUCCESSFUL AT CRUSHING FIVE CANS DURING ONE CYCLE. THE CALCULATED OUTPUT FORCE OF THE DEVICE WITH A SAFETY FACTOR OF THREE MEANT THAT THE CANS WERE EASILY CRUSHED. THE HOPPER MECHANISM WAS SUCCESSFUL AT RELEASING A SINGLE CAN THROUGH TO THE BED ONCE THE CRANK ARM REACHED FULL LENGTH AND ACTIVATED THE MECHANISM. THE CRUSHED CANS WERE DIVERTED OUT THROUGH THE BASE ONCE THEY HAD BEEN CRUSHED AND ABLE TO FIT THROUGH THE SLOT. THE DEVICE WAS ABLE TO DISPLAY THE FORCE EXERTED BETWEEN THE CAN AND THE FIXED PLATE FOR EACH CRUSH THROUGH THE USE OF A FORCE SENSITIVE RESISTOR PROGRAMMED IN TO THE DEVICE.

PLACEMENTS FOR MY INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENT YEAR AS PART OF MY UNIVERSITY COURSE I WORKED FOR WOODPECKER JOINERY (UK) LTD UNDER THE ROLE OF 'DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT INTERN'. I SPENT MY TIME HERE WORKING AS PART OF A DESIGN TEAM TO PRODUCE DETAILED GREENHOUSE PLANS, DEVELOP ALUMINIUM EXTRUSIONS AND WORK ON THE INSTALLATION OF BESPOKE PROJECTS. WORKING AT WOODPECKER ENABLED ME TO ATTAIN A DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL STUDIES. THE ROLE ENABLED ME TO TRAVEL ACROSS THE UK TO VARIOUS SITES AND CULMINATED IN ME TAKING PART IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT THAT WAS BASED IN GERMANY. DURING MY FINAL YEAR AT UNIVERSITY I WAS INVITED BACK TO WOODPECKER JOINERY (UK) LTD ONCE I HAD COMPLETED MY COURSE TO WORK UNDER A MORE ADVANCED ROLE OF 'DESIGNER'. I WAS THEN ABLE TO BECOME MORE INVOLVED WITH THE DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE OF ALL BESPOKE GARDEN BUILDINGS; MATERIALS MANAGEMENT FOR PROJECTS AND SURVEYING SITES FOR LARGE INSTALLATIONS; AS WELL AS CONTINUING MOST OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES UNDERTAKEN DURING MY UNDERGRADUATE PLACEMENT. THERE IS A WIDE VARIETY OF GARDEN BUILDINGS PRODUCED BY WOODPECKER JOINERY (UK) LTD AND DURING MY PLACEMENT I WAS LARGELY INVOLVED WITH THE DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE OF THESE. BY PREPARING DRAWINGS AND PLANS FOR INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS I WAS ABLE TO COMMUNICATE DESIGN AND MATERIAL SPECIFICATION. ONCE THE PLANS HAD BEEN SIGNED OFF THE BUILDING CAN BE PREPARED FOR MANUFACTURE BY TRANSLATING THE PARTS IN TO A MANUFACTURE DOCUMENT WHICH DETAILED THE PARTS TO BE MADE AND WHICH DEPARTMENT OF THE WORKSHOP WERE TO MANUFACTURE THEM. I INVOLVED MYSELF WITH MOST ASPECTS OF THE COMPANY, INCLUDING THE INSTALLATION OF BESPOKE PROJECTS. THIS BESPOKE GREENHOUSE WAS INSTALLED IN NORTH AMERICA AND HAD TO UNDERGO VIGOROUS REGULATIONS IN ORDER TO BE APPROVED, THIS REQUIRED DETAILED DRAWINGS OF ALL OF THE MANUFACTURE AND INSTALLATION OF THE PROJECT.

THIS MECHANISM WAS DESIGNED FOR BESPOKE HERITAGE GREENHOUSES WITH LITTLE ACCESS TO THE SIDE VENTS DUE TO WIDE STAGING. ALL OF THE VENTS DOWN ONE SIDE OF THE GREENHOUSE ARE LINKED THROUGH THE MECHANISM WHICH OPENS THEM THROUGH THE USE OF A SINGLE CRANK HANDLE. EACH OF THE VENTS ARE CONNECTED TO A LENGTH OF STAINLESS STEEL TUBING . THE LASER CUT ALUMINIUM PARTS HAVE BEEN POWDER COATED IN WHITE TO MATCH THE OTHER METALWORK ON THE GREENHOUSE.

USER EXPERIENCE THE AIM OF THIS PROJECT WAS TO DESIGN AND MAKE AN APPLICATION THAT ENCOURAGES THE HOME OWNER TO REDUCE THEIR ENERGY USAGE WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD, USING GAME MECHANICS TO ENGAGE THE USER. THE INITIAL SCREEN THAT WILL APPEAR ONCE THE APPLICATION IS OPENED IT WILL SHOW THE OPTION TO LOGIN OR TO REGISTER, AS A MEMBER PROFILE IS NEEDED FOR THE APP TO WORK.

ONCE THE LOGIN BUTTON HAS BEEN PRESSED THE TEXT FIELDS FOR THE USER-NAME AND PASSWORD WILL SLIDE UP FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN. ONCE THE REQUIRED TEXT HAS BEEN ENTERED THE LOGIN BUTTON IS PRESSED AGAIN AND THE APP IS DIRECTED TO THE HOME SCREEN.

ON THE HOME SCREEN THE RECENT AND NEW CHALLENGES ARE DISPLAYED TO ENCOURAGE THE USER TO ENGAGE WITH THE APP AND GAIN XP POINTS. THE THREE MENU BUTTONS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN WILL REMAIN THERE ON EACH PAGE OF THE APP.

AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST THE IS AN OPTION TO VIEW EXPIRED CHALLENGES THAT WILL DISPLAY EACH OF THE COMPLETED AND FAILED CHALLENGES, AND SHOW HOW MUCH XP WAS GAINED AND LOST FOR EACH OF THE CHALLENGES.

BY ENTERING THE FRIENDS COMPARISON PAGE BY CLICKING ON THE MENU AT THE BOTTOM OF THE APP THIS SCREEN WILL SLIDE UP FROM THE BOTTOM. THE DIFFERENT FRIENDS HOUSES ARE IDENTIFIED BY COLOUR AS TO HOW WELL THEY ARE DOING AT THAT TIME AND THE HOUSE SIZE TO INDICATE DIFFERENT SIZED HOUSEHOLDS.

BY CLICKING ANY OF THE HOUSES THE STATS FOR THAT HOUSE WILL APPEAR SHOWING HOW MUCH ENERGY IS BEING USED WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD AND WILL SHOW WHAT LEVEL THEY HAVE REACHED.


AN ADDITIONAL MENU BUTTON HAS BEEN INCLUDED TO THE BOTTOM BAR ON THE APP IN ORDER TO ALLOW QUICK ACCESS TO THE USER'S PROFILES AND STATISTICS.

MORE CONTENT HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE USER PROFILE PAGE, THE USER CAN NOW VIEW TIPS TO HELP THEM REDUCE THEIR ENERGY USAGE. THESE TIPS WILL BE RELATED TO AREAS THAT THEY AREN'T DOING SO WELL IN. THERE IS ALSO A GRAPHIC TO SHOW THE USER'S CURRENT LEVEL AND HOW MUCH XP IS REQUIRED TO LEVEL-UP.

THE ADDITIONAL TIP PAGE SHOWS THE TIPS THAT ARE RECOMMENDED BASED ON THE USER'S CURRENT STATISTICS, AND HOW THE USER CAN IMPROVE ON THESE SPECIFIC AREAS. THE TIP PAGE WILL ALSO LINK TO RELATED CHALLENGES AND THE AMOUNT OF XP THAT COMPLETING THESE WILL EARN.

FROM THE USER'S PROFILE PAGE THE USER CAN NOW VIEW THE STATS OF THE ENERGY USAGE OF EACH OF THE APPLIANCES WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD. THIS WILL ALLOW THE USER TO IDENTIFY AREAS THAT ARE CONSUMING THE MOST ENERGY AND ALSO ZONE IN ON AREAS TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS AND GAIN XP FROM THIS.



THIS DESIGN CONCEPT IS USING CHALLENGES AND RANKINGS TO ENCOURAGE THE USER TO REDUCE THE ENERGY USAGE WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD. BY COMPLETING CHALLENGES THAT ARE SET BY THE APP THE USER WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE POINTS THAT GRADUALLY INCREASES THE LEVEL THAT THE HOUSEHOLD ARE CURRENTLY AT. THIS POINT SYSTEM REGULARLY DISPLAYS THE PROGRESS AND MAKES THE USER FEEL ACCOMPLISHMENT. BY HAVING A POINT BASED SCORING SYSTEM THERE IS AN INFINITE GAME PLAY, AS THE USERS CAN CONTINUE TO GAIN XP AND RANKUP. OWNING A PROFILE ON THE APP ALLOWS THE USER TO COMPARE STATS AND COMPETE WITH FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS ALSO USING THE APP. THE USER IS DRAWN TO SUBCONSCIOUSLY SUCCEED IN ORDER TO IMPRESS OTHERS USING THE APP. THIS COMPETITION BETWEEN FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS IS WHAT DRIVES THE USERS TO COMPLETE MORE CHALLENGES AND RANK UP IN LEVEL; WHILST AT THE SAME TIME GRADUALLY DECREASING THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY CONSUMPTION WITHIN THE HOUSEHOLD. THE COMPETITORS ARE SHOWN BY THE COLOUR CODED HOUSES WITHIN THE FRIEND COMPARISON PAGE, WHAT LEVELS EACH HOUSEHOLD HAVE ACHIEVED DURING A RECENT TIME PERIOD IS SHOWN BY THE COLOUR OF THE ICON. THE TIPS WILL ALLOW THE USER TO FIND WAYS TO ENHANCE THEIR PERFORMANCE TO COMPLETE MORE CHALLENGES AND RANK UP QUICKER THAN OTHERS. THERE AREN’T ANY BACK NAVIGATION BUTTONS ON THE APP TO ENHANCE THE SIMPLICITY OF THE DESIGN. THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE BUTTONS AS THE PAGES NEVER FEATHER AWAY FROM ANY OF THE MENU BUTTONS AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH SCREEN. THE INFORMATION ABOUT THE USE OF ENERGY WILL BE OBTAINED THROUGH THE ENERGY PROVIDER E-ON.
