PROFILE About Me
I am close to finishing a twelve-month graduate placement, where I am working as a designer for a bespoke garden buildings manufacturer. To move forward from here I am looking to enter a permanent position that challenges my abilities as a designer. I consider myself a hard-working individual who produces a high standard of work. Good organisation and a keen interest in design have helped me through my university studies and in my work as a designer. I believe that these attributes, as well as being confident and punctual, would make me a valuable member of any team.

SKILLS Software
I have used Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop extensively throughout my university course for most projects, and as a result I have gained an excellent working knowledge in the use of these software tools. I am also proficient in the use of Creo and Keyshot which I studied as a specific module, and used in my work during my time at university. Recently on my placement, I have been using SolidWorks for part development, and SketchUp to prepare garden building manufacture plans.
Practical
I am capable of producing aesthetic models and functional prototypes to a professional standard, which I have demonstrated in my university modules and placement work. During my placements I have involved myself within the manufacturing processes and the installation stage of the garden buildings. This has helped to improve my knowledge of joinery design. I routinely maintain my bike and I also have a full clean driving license.
INTERESTS Personal
Extracurricular
During my free time I spend with my friends and family. I am a very social person who enjoys organising events to meet up with others. I regularly cycle at weekends to keep healthy and play football in a six-a-side league during the week with friends. I have completed the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award by taking on a twelve-month gym regime, a six-month volunteer scheme to train a youth football team and a three-month skill project where I learnt to be football referee. During my time at university I volunteered my design skills to help out with the branding for a two start-up companies. This was both for enjoyment and to practise new techniques.
