Stephan Lucas and his team help the Daphne Lee Disability Center!
The recent donation of over R7000.00 worth of men's clothing to the Daphne Lee Disability Center by Stephen Lucas and Bernhard van den Berg, with the unwavering support of Stilfontein 53, is just one of the many projects undertaken by the club as part of Winter Knights—a national Round Table initiative aimed at providing essential goods to those in need during the winter season.

Stilfontein 53 AGM and New Council

Stilfontein 53 had our AGM meeting at our Club house in Stilfontein on the 9th of February. Our AGM Gala was on the 11th of February.The meeting went well, everybody was prepared and excited. After a fantastic year of table we saw on all the reports how well we as Stilfontein did for the year . And how much of a difference we made in our community.
Next it comes down to the important part of the meeting and that was the new council for 2023/2024 that had to be voted for Everybody knew the voting would be easy after everybody gave their speech over why they want to do a portfolio and what portfolio they wanted to do
Willie van den Berg – Was voted in as chairman for 2023/2024
Stephen Lucas - Was voted in as vice chairman for 2023 /2024
Bernhard van den Berg – was voted in as treasure for 2023/2024
Stephan Henderson – Was voted in as secretary for 2023/2024
Nicus Prinsloo – Was voted in as IRO/PRO for 2023/2024
With that we where ready for the AGM Gala Stephen Lucas kicked off the evening with our aims and objectives. Which after Stephan Henderson came and welcomed everybody and made a few jokes He gave out the awareds for the year Willie and Bernhard shared tabler of the year. Stephan gave his out going chairmans report, and welcomed Willie van den Berg as our new in coming chairman Willie van den Berg gave his in coming chairmans speech and report. Willie van den Berg then announced his council for the year 2023/2024.
We did have a small set back when we had 3 resignations in 1 weekend that hit us as a table very hard. But as we do at Stilfontein 53 we picked ourselfs up and had a emergency meeting where the 3 of us that was left sorted out the portfolios.
