Cooking and baking gets competitive in streaming series on Netflix, discovery+ Streamers who dig culinary competition series will be in their glory this week as there are a number of new and recently premiered series and specials available for their consumption. Most prominent among them is “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.” Premiering Wednesday, June 15, this reboot of the “Iron Chef ” franchise features five new trailblazing Iron Chefs – Curtis Stone, Dominique Crenn, Marcus Samuelsson, Ming Tsai and Gabriela Cámara – facing off with Challenger Chefs Mason Hereford, Curtis Duffy, Claudette Zepeda, Esther Choi, Gregory Gourdet, Mei Lin and Yia Vang in challenges that push them to the limits of their endurance and creativity as they come up with extraordinary culinary creations. The competition’s most successful Challenger will return to do battle in the grand finale for the chance to be named the first ever “Iron Legend.” Andrew Zimmern and Nilou Motamed serve as judges along with a rotating panel that includes Justin Willman, Wolfgang Puck and Masaharu Morimoto.
