Mission Statement To inform and educate by showcasing local San Diego businesses and non-profit organizations working to make a difference in the community, by educating, implementing, creating, or currently using green practices and sustainable solutions. The RDF Commitment to Community Policy Research and Development Foundation including its subsidiaries maintain a policy to ONLY promote and advertise socially and environmentally responsible companies and organizations. It is our ultimate goal to support the San Diego community which makes our reliability and credibility solely rest on ensuring that core fundamental standards and values are maintained. Standards and Values Viewers: Our business is preserving and improving human life, animal health, and environmental quality. All of our actions must be measured by our success in achieving this goal. Above all, we value our ability to serve sponsors, advertisers, and consumers who can benefit from the resources, products, and services we provide. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of professional excellence and environmental awareness. We strive to identify the most critical needs of the San Diego community, and we devote our resources to meeting those needs. Investors: We recognize that our ability to meet our goals depends on maintaining financial performance that encourages investment in capturing an explosive era in environmental history. This in turn enables us to deliver effective resources and innovative services. We strive to provide honest, accurate and timely information to our investors about our performance and to make clear disclosures in all public reports and communications. San Diego: Being a good business means that we comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Also, we serve our society, from the local communities in which we operate to the national and international levels, by supporting a number of programs, including those that improve society and promote environmental sustainability. All of our activities are guided by our own personal ownership and responsibility to the principle "Business as usual, can be business that is useful." Our Suppliers: We believe in developing mutually beneficial relationships with our suppliers. We recognize that they are important partners in our success, and we treat them with honesty, fairness, and respect. We also expect that they will conduct business activities in accordance with business standards and values that align with our own. Employees/Volunteers: Our ability to succeed depends on the integrity, knowledge, imagination, skill, diversity, flexibility and teamwork of our employees. To this end we strive to create an environment of mutual respect, encouragement, and teamwork. A working environmnet that rewards commitments and performance and seeks to be responsive to the needs of employees and volunteers.
