Greetings,
It is with great pride and gratitude that I share this year’s Impact Report for the President’s Leadership Class (PLC) As Director, I have the distinct privilege of witnessing firsthand the remarkable growth and passion that our student leaders bring to our campus and community.

The President’s Leadership Class is more than a scholarship or program it is a transformative experience that empowers students to lead with integrity, serve with empathy, and inspire others through action Our PLC scholars have embodied these values in extraordinary ways. From leading campus programming and volunteering with local nonprofits, their commitment to making a positive impact has been unwavering.
During the 2024 - 2025 academic year, the program implemented several new initiatives, including the Lead the Way: Campus Leadership Summit for high school students and the Dr. Larry Rice Community Leadership Fellows Program. Additionally, the PLC program was recognized by RSU’s Student Government Association for Excellence in Community Service and Most Creative Event for the Hillcat Hoedown. These and other achievements highlighted in this report are a testament to the collective efforts of our students, faculty, alums, and community partners. Together, we are fostering a culture of leadership that extends far beyond the classroom and prepares our students to be agents of change.
Thank you for your continued support of the President’s Leadership Class I invite you to explore the milestones and impact outlined in this report.
With appreciation,

Christi Mackey, Assistant Professor Director, President’s Leadership Class

The 2024-2025 academic year for the President’s Leadership Class has been one for the history books. Standing true to our core mission of developing leaders and impacting the campus and surrounding community, we have accomplished much. On campus, PLC students hosted various events to increase student life, such as Fairest on the Hill and The Hillcat Hoedown. These events work with numerous campus organizations to provide students with opportunities to connect with others while having fun. We are also proud to announce that our newest event, The Lead the Way: Campus Leadership Summit, was a huge success! Bringing in 70 high school students from across Oklahoma, PLC facilitated an educational day filled with leadership advice and practical tools.
In the surrounding community, we continued our partnership with various local non-profit organizations. Through the Dr. Larry Rice Community Leadership Fellows Program, seven PLC students served as non-voting board members for local non-profits. During their tenure, students had the opportunity to witness what non-profit work looks like from an executive perspective. The PLC program is creating incredibly impactful resources and opportunities for students to increase their leadership capacity with hands-on experience.

I have no doubts that the Rogers State PLC program will continue to grow, and I am excited to see what the future holds for this organization.
Sincerely,
Corbin Harris PLC President 2024-2025
