Chair Chatter: Sally Thackray ahead of today’s game Good afternoon to everyone for this afternoons FA Women's National League, Northern Division fixture against Hull City Ladies FC. A warm welcome to all players, club officials and spectators who have made the journey from Hull for todays match. Hull are a newly promoted side this this season, and have made a solid start. We have already met earlier this season in the League Cup (1st Round) , and it was a close match with Hull taking a 2-1 victory. We need to keep working hard and step up a gear today, to be at our absolute best. We secured our first win of the season last week in the County Cup, and we must build on that success to take some League points today. Since my last notes there have been a number of changes at the Club. Our 1st team Manager, Mark Brier, has left the Club, and the senior section are being overseen , on an interim basis by Jamie Grand. He is being supported in the 1st team by Meg Lawson and Toni Butcher, and in the Reserve Team by Luke Norris. A number of new players have also joined, with more on the way. This is a difficult time for everyone at the Club, we will get through this, but we need to work together to build our great club back to where it belongs.

In the words of Stuart McCall, " We are all one team, together we will be successful" Off the field we are still looking to recruit some more volunteers for our media team, especially with the opportunity to write our page in the City (men’s) programme. If interested please email Matthew - matthewk@bradfordcitywomensfc.co.uk. Get behind the girls today, they need your support.

Today’s opposition: Hull City LFC The Club was formed in 2001 and played in the Yorkshire & Humberside league before being promoted to North East Women’s Premier League 2005– 06. Just two years later they were champions of that league and were promoted to Northern Combination, but only stayed for two seasons and was back playing in the NEWPL. In 2011–12 the club merged with Beverley Town Ladies and in four years have gained promotion to the Women’s Premier League Northern Division One after finishing champions of the 2014–15 season. The club has grown significantly over the last

year, hence the need for the creation of a reserve team, who will play in the Women's Premier League Reserves Division. The Tigresses have had a mixed start to their first season in the FAWNL, they currently sit 10th, but level in points with the two teams directly above them. They are making progress in the cup, having already beaten Bradford City and Birmingham & West Midlands LFC. Next up they have a third round tie away to Bolton Wanderers in December.
