June 10, 2025, legendary actor, Glynn Turman received the 2,816 Hollywood Walk of Fame star in the category of Motion Pictures, marking a permanent recognition of his six-decade acting career. The star is located at 7065 Hollywood Blvd., next to the star of his friend and mentor, Sidney Poitier.

The Man. The Music. The Vision.
Amapiano music, which originated in South Africa has taken over the world. It is an upbeat melodic music of happiness, dance, fun, and celebration.
In May 2024, after one of my music performances in Beverly Hills, concert promoter, Leonard Blair explained his vision to me on how he plans to promote Amapiano music to America.
Leonard’s vision immediately reminded of the great Chris Blackwell of Island Records, who had a vision to package and introduce Reggae music (Bob Marley) to the world. The rest is history.
I believe that Leonard Blair’s vision of Amapiano Gala is a brilliant idea that will elevate the genre and its artists. ROGEE Magazines are teaming up with Leonard Blair to support the vision through magazine expressions and coverages.

Recently, Thom Mount did a book signing in Santa Monica at DIESEL, A Book Store. I filmed the event and I got to chat with Thom about this captivating Hollywood Insider book. It’s now available on AMAZON and everywhere books are sold.
So, if you’re wondering “Is that the same Thom Mount?” Yes. That’s him. The legendary movie producer who was the President of Universal Pictures, and who brought us some iconic movies. Can you imagine the kind of Hollywood book that could come out of the mind of such a legend?
Well, that’s exactly what RAFFERTY RETURNS is.
I’ve read a 3rd of the book, and that 3rd, I’ve read multiple times. In fact, some sections, I’ve read 4, 5 times. The stories are so intriguing to me. I love a good Hollywood crime movie. This book is a great Hollywood crime book. It should be a movie, already. Thanks Thom. Great book! Job well done!
