Devin and James are college sweethearts who met at the University of New Mexico. They both had busy lives outside of school, James played football and Devin worked full-time, but they managed to cross paths a few times at social events. One semester, they ended up in the same class and sparked a connection. All it took was one date at their favorite Mexican restaurant in Albuquerque to realize they were a perfect match, and have been inseparable since! They had been dating for eight years and while James was away for US Army Reserves training, he knew it was time to propose. He wrote Devin a letter everyday he was away and upon returning home he took her to Red Rocks on a sunny Sunday morning. He got down and pretended to take a family photo with their dogs, but instead popped the question. Completely shocked, Devin cried, “Yes!” They planned a warm and romantic wedding for October 20th.
