brichon + baxter - Big Cottonwood Canyon

Brichon and Baxter couldn’t think of a better place to capture their love story than on the slopes. They met in second grade and Brichon always considered Baxter her childhood crush. Finally, after high school graduation and 10 years passed, Baxter asked for a date! The two quickly hit it off and Brichon ended up transferring to the University of Utah to be with her other half. She remembers quickly falling in love with the state, her Alma Matter and of course, Baxter. After dating for six years, Baxter knew it was time to pop the question. He decided to do it in Big Cottonwood Canyon, at one of their favorite hiking spots, Silver Lake. Brichon’s heart was pounding as Baxter got down on one knee and she said yes! Their favorite activity is skiing and spending time outdoors - which was the inspiration for their engagement shoot captured by With Megs Photography. The couple wanted to send family and friends a winter themed ‘save the date’ to not only get them excited for their wedding but also to encourage guests to hit the slopes with them before their big day. They’re planning a romantic winter wedding for February 11th.
