ParadoxPi π “Time Is An Illusion.” —Albert Einstein Illusion: A thing that is or is likely to be wrongly perceived or interpreted by the senses. Paradox: A statetment or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth; kind of like Time. Kind of like our circle - our life. Pi: The ratio of a circle. (Math) There are several formulae that use the Fibonacci numbers to compute Pi (π). The Fibonacci numbers are Nature’s numbering system. They appear everywhere in Nature, from the leaf arrangement in plants, to the pattern of the florets of a flower, the bracts of a pinecone, or the scales of a pineapple. The Fibonacci numbers are therefore applicable to the growth of every living thing, including a single cell, a grain of wheat, a hive of bees, and even all of mankind. The circle is similar to that which we close ourselves into - our life; the way we choose to live our life. Further, a series of lifetimes through reincarnation can be part of the tapestry of our circle. Pi (π) is an irrational number, a transcendental number, a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle approximated as 3.14159265359 which reduces to 8. Equivalently, its decimal representation never ends and never starts like infinity ∞ or, as Rory Gallagher said, “Music doesn’t end and it doesn’t start, it is with you all the time.” It is the same with a visual artist; it is a life style. Pi (Math) ‘simply’ put, is your circle; your allotted time. The uniform flow of time may indeed be an illusion. Perhaps all of time, like all of space, really does exist all around us and all at once. The passage of time may be a paradoxical illusion to help us make sense of our entrapment within physical clothes. Those who have returned home - to Spirit, may indeed be able to adopt a higher viewpoint, to see both future and past. But furthermore they, and we, may be able to alter them.
