MESSAGE FROM PROGRAM HOST, GREATER ROCHESTER CHAMBER:
We look forward to our annual Top 100 event each November – we look forward to the party and camaraderie we see between teams. We look forward to seeing new connections being made that will drive businesses forward. But most of all, we look forward to having a chance to take a moment to bring over 1,800 people together, all with the common goal to celebrate the greatness that drives our shared region forward.
Each of the companies on our 2025 Top 100 list is a powerful contributor to our individual economy–each of their employees, their leadership teams, and their customers power their individual successes. But together, the collective impact of these 100 companies showcases what is possible when we come together to power connected prosperity. At Greater Rochester Chamber, we know that success isn’t solitary–and tonight proves that. While these companies’ singular impacts are massive, their collective impact is immeasurable. In spite of challenges and uncertainty at all levels, these companies are leading the way and investing in our community and its people.
The 2025 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 companies employ over 23,000 people around the country, with 15,000 of them being right here in the Greater Rochester region. This year, these companies generated over $5.2 billion in revenue, a significant portion of which will be reinvested in our local economy. Greater Rochester Chamber is proud to showcase and convene this group of companies together this evening to celebrate their growth, and showcase their diversity, vibrancy, and innovation as an inspiration for each other and the thousands of other growing companies located in our region.
We want to extend our thanks to all of tonight’s sponsors. Their support and investment in excellence made this celebration possible. Thank you to ESL Federal Credit Union for their ongoing support as our presenting sponsor, our reception sponsor M&T Bank, and KPMG LLP for their continued partnership in tabulating results. Additional thanks to premier sponsors Delta, NBT Bank, Paychex, and T-Mobile, our program partners, 13WHAM/Fox/CW, 92.5 WBEE, Constellation Brands, Democrat & Chronicle, Rochester Riverside Convention Center, On Services, and all of our corporate and supporting sponsors.
And of course, congratulations to each of the remarkable companies on our Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list! CELEBRATING EXCEPTIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS
We are pleased to come together once again to celebrate the achievements of the 2025 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100. This year’s list showcases the ever-evolving landscape of companies in the region and boasts a combined total revenue of over $5.2 billion for the most recent fiscal year. The measurement period for this year’s program spans from 2022 through 2024.
Notably, this year’s list includes 45 companies that were not part of the previous year’s list, including 10 of the top 20. Only 8 companies have made the list each of the past five years, and even fewer (3) have appeared every year for the past decade. This underscores the impressive consistency needed to thrive in our region’s competitive business landscape.
In terms of industry representation, financial services (+6), retail (+1), wholesale/distribution (+1), manufacturing (+1), and e-commerce (+1) outperformed construction (-4), service (-4), and technology (-2) businesses on the 2025 Top 100 list. Despite a decrease, construction companies make up five of the top ten, indicating a promising trend for future growth in the region.
Once again, the 2025 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 is a testament to the resilience and adaptability of the region’s business community. Despite the challenges posed by today’s pace of change, these companies have demonstrated their capacity to thrive and seize new opportunities. We extend our congratulations to all the companies on the list and wish them continued success in their endeavors.

TECH HUB TALENT BENEFITS US ALL: TECH HUB TALENT BENEFITS US ALL:
A SPOTLIGHT ON GREATER ROCHESTER’S FUTURE INNOVATIONS
Over two years ago in October 2023, the Buffalo-Rochester-Syracuse region was named a federal tech hub as the NY SMART I-Corridor, a prestigious designation created by the US CHIPS and Science Act. Last summer in July 2024, the corridor was awarded a $40 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Regional Technology and Innovation Hubs program. Today, we’re starting to see the real, significant impact that this program will have on our community. And, the best is yet to come, for our region, its talent, its businesses, and its future.
While our tech hub is the only in the nation focused on semiconductors and microelectronics, the work being done for our tech hub will benefit everyone in our community. Made up of three distinct component projects, the tech hub is designed for long-term economic impact through innovation, workforce development, and supply chain development.
The numbers don’t lie. Over the next ten years, across the corridor, we seek to create over 14,000 new jobs and add $18 billion to the region’s GDP. With this kind of investment and growth, every company in the region will benefit. From bringing new customers into the community to regional investments to support the new families who call it home, this is a transformational project for our region, no doubt about it.
Here in Rochester, we’re working with our partners to build a homegrown workforce that meets a generational opportunity–an opportunity by no means limited to the semiconductor industry alone. Between the new facilities being built to the housing being built for the new workers, the development along the corridor will require a significant increase in the construction workforce. Wraparound services for workers and their families means that investments in transportation, childcare, and more are coming. And of course, with thousands of new jobs being created in the region, cultural, retail, and service establishments will feel the impact of a growing population. Through programs like STEP UP, ONRAMP, and more, we’re doing this with a personal focus to break down barriers and build a more equitable workforce for the future.
Greater Rochester Chamber is proud to work alongside OneROC and our partners in Buffalo and Syracuse to position our shared region at the forefront of innovation and growth. As the Greater Rochester business community’s voice in this transformative initiative, we’re not just preparing for what’s next—we’re actively shaping it. Our talent strategy work is critical to this mission: building the high-skill, high-opportunity workforce required to power the corridor’s longterm success. From workforce development programs and employer partnerships to regional collaboration and policy advocacy, we’re aligning business needs with bold economic opportunity—so every job created here connects to a stronger future for our region.
And as much as all companies in our region will benefit from this investment, you’ve already helped to make it possible. From the generational legacy optics companies that put our region on the map to the agile startups that continue to ensure innovation is in the DNA of our region, and from the community organizations to the organizational support services, every resident of Rochester and throughout our region has played a role in making sure this opportunity was available for our shared community.
As we celebrate this year’s 2025 Top 100 companies and your growth over the past three years, know that this growth has played a role in securing Rochester’s next legacy for the future. Since the Top 100 Awards were first presented 39 years ago, the program has been about celebrating our region’s shared success. Over those nearly four decades, our region has transformed through shared struggles and celebrated shared wins – together all the while. Looking ahead, we won’t have to wait four more decades for another transformational shift. We’ll be feeling the impact of the NY SMART I-Corridor over the next several months and years and are excited to see the ways our community continues to grow, innovate, and lead the way for our country, all in good company.

HEWITT YOUNG
Hewitt Young began in 2003 as a small electrical contractor with a simple goal: to do good work and stand behind it. Two decades later, that same mindset fuels a company recognized among the Top 10 fastest-growing businesses in the Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100. Growth came through change. 2025 marks a turning point under Cody Hewitt’s leadership, as Hewitt Young continues its evolution from an electrical contractor into a solutions-driven construction company tackling some of New York’s most complex renewable, low voltage, public works, and industrial projects. The transition reflects a clear understanding of where the industry is heading and what clients truly need. Our teams bring together multiple trades under one roof, blending technical expertise with practical problem-solving to deliver projects that stand the test of time. What makes Hewitt Young different is the people behind it. We’ve created a culture built on trust, accountability, and pride in the craft. Employees are encouraged to think for themselves, lead from where they stand, and grow with the company. We believe a workplace should bring out the best in people, not just demand it. Making the Top 100 is an achievement we’re proud of, but it’s also a reminder of the road ahead. The work we do every day keeps pushing us forward. Each project adds to a story still unfolding, carried forward by people whose commitment to their craft and community continues to define what progress looks like.

GREENLIGHT NETWORKS
Greenlight Networks has risen to the top by putting customers and communities first. Since 2011, we’ve delivered the fastest, most reliable fiber internet while keeping our focus on what matters most: exceptional customer experience, local service, and community investment. From the beginning, our vision has been clear: provide internet the way it should be—fast, affordable, and built for the way people live, work, and play today. As we’ve grown, we’ve never lost sight of our roots. Greenlight was founded in Rochester, and our hometown approach continues to shape how we serve every community. We listen to residents, work closely with local leaders, and reinvest in the neighborhoods where we build. This commitment to local service and support sets us apart, ensuring that even as our footprint expands, our customers continue to enjoy a personalized, community first experience. In recent years, Greenlight has expanded beyond New York, bringing our world-class connectivity to Pennsylvania and Baltimore. The acquisition of Loop Internet further accelerated this growth, allowing us to serve more customers across the Northeast with the same reliable, fiber-to-the-home network and customer-first philosophy that fueled our early success. We continue to expand upon our existing network infrastructure right here in Rochester where in 2025 alone we will have added nearly 24,000 additional homes that can access our services. Along the way, our growth has also contributed to local job creation and regional economic development, helping communities thrive both online and off. We are honored to be recognized among the Greater Rochester Chamber’s Top 100 companies and proud to stand alongside so many innovative, community-driven businesses. Together, we’re fueling growth, building trust, and making a lasting impact on our region. Congratulations to all of this year’s Top 100 honorees!

AmBuild Supply was honored to accept an Excellence in Construction Award from Associated Builders and Contractors this year. The award was given for our part in the historic preservation of the National Yeast Company building in Seneca Falls along the Erie Canal. The Huntington Apartments project, led by Home Leasing Construction, was part of a revitalization initiative. The building itself, originally built in the 1870s, was named one of the Landmark Society of Western New York’s Five to Revive. As part of the restoration, the roof was rebuilt, adding a fourth floor and creating a total of 53 apartments designated as supportive housing for formerly homeless veterans. AmBuild Supply was responsible for providing and installing specialty materials including all appliances. Most of the work, because of the tight schedule, was completed over the 2024 Christmas-New Year holiday week. Without access to equipment lifts or elevators, and with an eye on safety, AmBuild staff used specialty stair climbers to move the bulky and heavier materials to the upper floors. This project was incredibly challenging for a multitude of reasons, but it was even more rewarding for what was accomplished, and what is now being provided to the community.
