Military Section MAIW Just a single release this month after last month’s over excitement. Hatzor Air Base Our next package is the third part in our Israeli Defense Force series. This time it brings you the F16 Figthing Falcons from Hatzor AB, produced by Giorgio Perotti.

Hatzor is an Israeli Air Force military airbase, located in central Israel, near kibbutz Hatzor after which it is named. Hatzor Airbase began its life as a British base known as Qastina. With the British withdrawal from Israel, soldiers from the Givati brigade took control of the base. A few months later the "First Fighter" Squadron was relocated from Herzliya Airfield. Included in this complete AI package are the HTAI F-16 model complete with textures, flightplans, AFD files, callsigns and scenery for Hatzor AB made from custom and scenery library objects. Unfortunately, there was little interest in the “European Charter Airlines at Mediterranean Airports competition. The above shot (taken by one of the authors) is at Gibraltar Airport, showing one of Monarchs new A320 Sharklet aircraft! Real-world weather provided by Active Sky helped create the dynamic clouds in the background. For the October 2013 competition, we would like to see shots showing Russian Metal. We would appreciate it if all entries be made by 27th October 2013 in order to give us time to judge the winning shot. Please send entries to aimonthly@hotmail.co.uk
